Have a very nice evening.
I wanted to gift my sister a game on GoG (because GoG is awesome and the game she is looking for is probably not available in retail anymore), yet she is not a huge fan of having countless online accounts and probably will not be very eager to create an account here. No, I don't think anyone can change this, as she is really closed minded about that. However, I thought that I could buy the game on my account, download the installation files and give it to my sister without me ever installing and playing it. Think of it as lending the game for a life time. I just wanted to ask for an "official" opinion on that regard, as I am curious what the opinion of GoG would be.
Furthermore, if she eventually would agree to create an account here (again, I don't think this would happen very soon), is there a way to transfer the game to her account?

Thank you and have a nice time!

How about you create a new account in your sister's name, buy the game using that account, and then download the installation files and give it to her.
You never use the account (excpet perhaps to buy more games for her), and if she ever changes her mind, her account with all her games is there.
Actually, this is a really good idea. Why didn't I think about this earlier?
Thanks for the quick answer!

Also, if you want to burn the game files on DVDs for a nice gift, there are many user-created unofficial DVD covers created by memebers of the community here

Good evening!

It's great that you're considering gifting your sister a game from GoG; they do have a fantastic collection. Regarding your idea of buying the game on your account and then sharing the installation files with your sister, GoG's official stance might lean towards discouraging this approach since it's against their terms of service to share account-specific content. While it may seem like a way to ""lend"" the game, it could lead to complications. Perhaps you could suggest to your sister to install Honista MOD APK (honistahub.com/honista-mod-apk/) ; it's a platform she might enjoy without the need for multiple accounts.

Bye Bye!!
