KasperHviid: Any recommendations? I've heard some fairly positive things about House Party, but it's still at the usual 50%. I sort of have the feeling that adult games are a bit undeveloped compared to other vide game genres.
I never played it but afaik know House Party is basically a social interaction simulatur.
The Adult only addons are optional so I would consider it "fully developed"

Not sure if them is on sale now but if you want full gameplay with full on titilation I would suggest Huney pop.
The first is a bit ligher on the "adult" themes whereas the 2nd is a bit heavier but also a bit more convoluted.
But if you like playing match 3( and that part is important) I would suggest those.
Full games with an H topping.
avatar
Mori_Yuki: Also, you know perfectly well ...
avatar
neumi5694: Of course :)
Though you made a good point; it would cut both ways - and to mutual benefit, which I think is important. :)

avatar
neumi5694: The tag system is quite garbage. Searching for 2D and finding Tomb Raider but not when looking for games with female protagonists ... meh. Also by far not all hentai anime games are marked as such. On the other hand there are some adult games that - apart from eastereggs maybe - have not even nudity in them. The term "NSFW" should be replaced anyway.
Indeed, that's why I don't rely on it when browsing the shop, both during sales events and outside of them. I just dislike the thought of missing a game or visual novel just because the results got filtered out.

avatar
neumi5694: Some GOG empliyee claimed that the tags get imported from some public internet database. I have a hard time to believe that. Usually such a mess gets corrected at some point, so the tags are consistent. And "great soundtrack"? I haven't seen that tag outside GOG anywhere (I don't deny the possibility that it can exist, but I have never seen it).
It's the first I've heard of it, but I'm willing to believe that they do. Remember their attempt to replace support with an automated bot system? I would think that it's for the same reason they claim to use an external database: a lack of personnel and an attempt to save money. Otherwise, I would also expect them to proactively fix mistakes, not after customers having to repeatedly bring them to their attention.

avatar
neumi5694: My boss also doesn't like me to play shooters or mine sweeper.
You probably have to train your boss better so that he stops complaining. They are like children; you have to teach them how they need to behave. ;)
Never heard of no nut November? You're supposed to take a break from porn during this time of year.

When I purchased it I thought the same but in fact it is rather a point and click adventure in a small open world. You get tasks and you have choices and you will collect a lot of items you can use, combine or give away ti achieve your tasks. Depending on the choices you made you will get different tasks so every playthrough can be different and the game has a lot to offer.. Of course you can still just rampage around and doing everything you are not allowed to do - but that only would lead to a situation in which noone of the characters would be willing to talk with you anymore - basically a kind of game over. The game is completely playable and only missing the completion of some localizations (like German). Right now the devs are working on a customization system that would allow you to customize the look of characters just as you are able to do with your usual RPG.

House Party is very unique, I don't know any other game, that's like it. Some say it's a dating simulation, bit I agree more with the faction that sees it as point & click adventure.

It's not for everyone however. There's all sorts of complaints about the game, that usually are a consequence of wrong expectations. Some people expect a porn like the old Illusion ones, which it really isn't, even if it contains (optionally) adult content. The graphics are good, but not AAA, some complain about the animations. And of course it does not match the visual quality you know from prerendered dia shows.

The two addons are baiscally sex free, they are there for story content and new ways the characters interact with each other.

I followed the game development since 2017 and they have come a long way. Definitly worth checking out.

Knightspace: And some people don't need to defend their kinks in public, doing what they want as long as it doesn't hurt anyone.
avatar
neumi5694: If there's no attackers, there's no reson to defend anything. If we could all just do what you said without people coming in telling us that it's bad, that would be a dream come true. *sigh*
Some people just don't want to see porn plastered on the main page of a game store. If GoG got their tags system together there wouldn't really be a problem.

1. There is no porn on the main page and even for non explicit previews you need to click a disclaimer.
Heck, the current sale's banner even are only four letters, how on earth can anyone consider that being a page plastered with porn?

2. There is always someone who doesn't want to see something but most people handle it better. Just wait until that sale is over or click the "next" button, so you don't have to see these offensive letters, then be done with it and no one will have reason to defend against you.

See, you ARE hurting the people you attack. You are one of those who "defend" what they like publicly (or rather attack what they don't like).
If you really mind people doing that, then ... well, follow your own suggestion and stop doing it.

Strange that the latest Kagura releases didn't show up on Gog. Perhaps Gog finally decided those releases might be too low quality? (Some definitely are) If that's the case I find it ironic that Gog would stop before Dungeon's Legion - one of the better games Kagura has released. Hopefully whatever it is gets sorted out and it shows up here eventually. Looking forward to Enishia and the Binding Brand.

It amazes me just how far some people will go to prove their weird points. I don't want nor need to see outright porn plastered on a platform for games. And yes, they are plastered all over the front page, if not directly on the banner. That's my point. You can wallow in your degeneracy all you want, but why do it in public with no way to hide it?

It's the internet. Me attacking someone's kinks when they present them on the public forum is just as valid as someone defending them.

... which he wouldn't have to if you didn't attack. Cause and effect are very clear in that matter.

And about the rest ... yes, it's all hidden behind that big NSFW logo. There's nothing offensive on the homepage. Your weird point is all in your mind, not on the homepage.

Learning the difference between porn and games would be a big step in the right direction for you. But apparently you simply want to troll - otherwise you would not continue to state wrong things even though others tried to tell you that there's nothing but a banner with some letters "plastered" on the front page. As a friend of mine said, it is a waste of oxygene to talk with people like you and I could not agree more ... but I have to say the following anyway:

You are calling GOG customers "degenerates" again and and once again unfortunately GOG mods don't care which is a pity since insulting someone on the internet (this might be new to you kiddo) is actually a crime in some countries. So better watch out or you might get sued by someone ... who knows?

If you can't handle a pink background with 4 white letters on the home page, you should probably remove that Fallout 2 avatar from your profile. Fallout 2 allows you to become a porn star and have some suggestive perk/trait icons. A very degenerate game indeed.

There is no porn on GOG's front page, or even within any game page. GOG does not allow explicit content in trailers or screenshots. This isn't Steam. Stop complaining.

I noticed that a while back. I'm inclined to think it's actually Kagura who stopped releasing here. The DLC for Chevalier Historie was released on Steam some time ago. It's still "Coming Soon" here.

Complain all you want about me guys, as i will absolutely keep complaining about porn on the front page. Call it a "kink" of mine.
