tremere110: Strange that the latest Kagura releases didn't show up on Gog. Perhaps Gog finally decided those releases might be too low quality? (Some definitely are) If that's the case I find it ironic that Gog would stop before Dungeon's Legion - one of the better games Kagura has released. Hopefully whatever it is gets sorted out and it shows up here eventually. Looking forward to Enishia and the Binding Brand.

Ophelium: I noticed that a while back. I'm inclined to think it's actually Kagura who stopped releasing here. The DLC for Chevalier Historie was released on Steam some time ago. It's still "Coming Soon" here.
Kagura staff confirmed in their discord that the games have been handed to GOG. It's GOG who is holding up the releases.

It's the same pattern with the VN publishers too: Over the years I and others have spoken with the different companies, they have submitted many high quality VN titles and nothing eventuated - Bokuten from MangaGamer, LoveLabJapan's and Fruitbat Factory's catalogues, all for example.
MangaGamer has also said in the past that they'd be happy to bring even more of the catalogue over, but it is GOG who hasn't accepted those titles. And Jast staff have said they're withholding submitting more titles because of the Tokyo Necro debacle.

My theory is that there is either a single GOG acquisitions staff member that likes Japanese media, but then goes on leave/gets busy and no-one else can be bothered with the titles.
Or... all acquisitions staff are open to it, but these things come and go in batches. Remember how we used to get mass dumpings of VNs, or sudden waves of sword-and-board fantasy themed games, then a wave of cyberpunk, etc.

But that's just me trying to make sense of GOG's practices, in order to soothe my frustration after years of coaxing JP publishers to bring their titles here, only for them to get ignored... :')

Project Cappuccino has now become the very first MediBang game with working achievements!

MediBang and / or GOG need to put the Achievement Feature tag on the store. They are there and they do work from today though.
