P-E-S: Coulda just said furries and be done with it. ;)
Well. Furries, the literal Argonian maid, and bees with tits.
For all those who ever looked at an insect and thought to themselves: “Jez! Have you seen the stinger on that thing?”

Somehow, I can see this title being (in-)voluntarily hilarious. I mean, this has worse graphics and less "action" than 90% of ancient temple graffities from Pompeii to Khajuraho.

P-E-S: Oh, hey, it's bitch-and-moan thread #187629983. *rolls eyes*
The issue with this game isn't that it is pornographic, it's that the art looks incredibly bad. Since I buy games because cats and great soundtracks, I'm technically not a a porn game expect. But relating it into things I do want, I'm not going to purchase a game where you go around punching cats while being forced to listen to bad music...

The same logic tells me that people who want porn games, don't want to look at bad art. They want hot naked people that are artfully rendered. If the porn looks bad as is the case with Sapphire Safari, I think it is a serious issue and question why it was approved to be here.

It's not unreasonable to say quality porn only please!

Pretty much anything that has to deal with lewd anthropomorphic creatures tends to be grouped together under the general furry erotica umbrella.

SargonAelther: ALWAYS inspect all NSFW games on Steam, before buying them here, 'cause Steam allows for NSFW screenshots. Helps you make an informed decision and avoid any potentially-unwanted surprises.
That's sound advice I usually tend to follow. I don't complain about it being here or that it contains futa, because when I'm not interested in games or specific titles, I add them to my uBlock list and move on. However, I do believe that there should be a notice on the front page and a tag to make potential buyers aware that this is featured in this title, so they can make an informed decision. Not all customers take the time to visit St. Elsewhere or other websites to get an idea of what's in a game based on screenshots, and reviews, whether it's NSFW or otherwise. ;)

Is there a way to specifically search for sex/romance games on GOG? There seem to be quite a few released in the last couple years but when I check the search options I don't see any ability to focus on just that style. Never tried one but I'm thinking I may as well see what the most popular ones are and give one a go. It'd probably be useful to add a romance category for games that are primarily built around romantic relationships.
I was looking at "Heads will roll: reforged" as it seemed to be an interesting mix of combat and romantic relationships but a quick youtube review showed it more as accumulating points from doing quests and then getting a soft-core picture at the end . . so the romance/sex isn't very involved.

Anyone got any suggestions? I like narrative and story that's well written and not too long (I liked planescape torment but not Pillars or eternity when it comes to writing, if that's a helpfull comparison - though I dont' think I would have time for PST today. Disco elysium is the longest game I've played in a long while). The sexual stuff would be a bonus on top of good writing and interesting story+characters. Oh and the characters looking like normal humans . . . a number of the sexual looking games I've seen feature anime women with breasts larger than their heads. Just weird to me. And preferably not one that involves jumping through lots of hoops or checking online guides like a puzzle game.

I have to agree with those complaining about this game. The whole point of GOG was the DRM free, own our own game, highly curated to ensure we get the full gaming experience, good quality older games (old enough that complete versions can be hosted). I get that they've needed to include a greater spectrum of games (various small niche games) and include new releases and early access (as that's where alot of the money is) but I was still expecting "good" to remain a primary feature.
Oh well, unfortunately I'm not particularly surprised anymore. It being sexual isn't an issue as I don't see the presence of sex themes and pornography as any worse than violent themes or over the top violence (I'd say I'd rather the former than the latter).

Monosodium glutamate, known by E621...

By the way: Has anyone seen those animations Whygena does? Suprisingly cozy stuff.

It's so much fun to swin against the stream. I was hoping that the game would come to GOG and I actually like the artstyle as well. These are also the same devs/publishers that made "Under contract" which I also enjoyed and which is constantly updated on GOG as well as expected for an inDev game (in opposite to games like The Mansion which are still listed on GOG even though they are obviously abandoned and unfinished) - I don't expect anything less from the devs here. Yes, $20 would be overpriced for me as well but for $10 I will purchase it and I am happy to support devs that like to be on GOG and treat GOG and their customers good as well.

You could use tags like "sexual content" and "nsfw" as well as "romance". Problem is that the database requires ALL tags to be in it (or at least I haven't figured outr a way yet to change the tag management to "OR" instead of "AND" ... so better use these tags seperately for each search.

Most of those romance based games - especially those with sxual content in it are VNs - so basically a book to read with maybe some mini games and quite a few of choices and different routes. My all time favorites here are "Being a DIK" and "Leap of Faith" but I also had lost of fun with "Lust Theory" which adds the idea of a time loop to relations/sexual encounters. "Evenicle" also is a great VN with lots f sexual content and romances but it is also very long.

When it comes to games that aren't VNs I loved Hunie Pop (match 4 game with a big focus on dating which does not take itself seriously at all). Under Contract is a fun game with sexual content in it but it is not about a relationship at all so it might not fit your wishlist.

I never protest any game being released here, unless it actually comes with DRM. Though sometimes, looking at some games that do get rejected and games that do get accepted, makes me scratch my head.

While not photo-realistic, my recommendation will always be Subverse. It's V0.8.2 and in early access, but a 0.1 update comes once every 3/4 months. It launched on GOG as 0.3. You can think of these patches as episodes of sorts. It'd 3D and rendered in real time, not a pre-rendered slide show. Fully voiced and story-rich. Has decent gameplay. Thematically it's a Mass Effect parody.
As for the breast issue, they came in varying sizes, depending on the character.
Shouldn't that be premature access?
The graphics in this game are very much a case of the goggles do nothing.
Judging by the comments; it's clear I'm not missing sleep with this game being geo-blocked for me.
Judging by the comments: nobody played the game, nobody is qualified to judge it.

Except maybe MarkoH01?

We're not qualified to review it, but we are qualified to judge the same way everyone, presumably you too, judge whether they are interested in buying any game.

Now granted, I'm probably not qualified to judge it because I don't really get the point of porn games in general, but then if it wasn't a porn game I'd still say it looks terrible.
