MartiusR: And yes, I totally respect your approach, especially since giving to any producer signal, that he can make ports with such poor quality and still be considered as "oh, so great" will bring nothing good. So it's definitelly a good approach from your side, that you're trying to help people realise this thing. Sad thing is, that plenty don't even want to listen.
Right. Eurogamer's DIgital Foundry guys do these tech evaluations and say "well it dips to 360p and 20fps, but it's still amazing because it's portable!!!" Like... I get some people love the portability, but I don't think any good comes from accepting that kind of performance for a game. I post that in the comments over there though, and I get roasted and neg'd by people telling me it doesn't matter on a portable. Hence the thread.
Granted Digital Foundry videos have also shown me console games in general dip way below 30 more than I thought, so I guess people are used to it. If you're not into PC gaming then I guess you either accept it or don't play.
