Just discovered GOG and love it already. I'm a 3d freak and just downloaded Witcher 1 and Witcher 2. I sampled Witcher 1 and was amazed how the effects popped out of the screen. This doesn't happen nearly as much with the Battlefield and COD games I've played.

Could you guys and gals give me some recommendations on quality games that really pop in 3d?

i7 875k (yes. I know it's time to upgrade)
MSI 1060 6gb
16GB DDR3 2133

Thanks very much and I look forward to 'meeting' some of you in the coming years.
Welcome to He....Gog:)
You want effects that pop out the screen?

Try HuniePop! :P
I never cared much about top-of-the-line graphic, but here's is my best guesses:

Lickdom Battlemage - Looks amazing, but I never had the patience to figure out how to actually play this thing.

Rise of the Triad (2013) - A very entertaining remake! I didn't has enough horse power on my last PC, but now it works pretty great.

Strike Suit Zero: Directors Cut - A space sim I never really got into. Nice graphic, though.

Tower of Guns - Roguelike FPS. The cell-shaded graphic is not AAA quality, but still manages to look pretty awesome.

Exanima - RPG with an uncompromising (but fun) physical combat system. Really nice graphic.
I don't think this is quite the right place for such things, as even the modern games that get released here tend to have more subdued graphics (like Shogun Tactics, or Pillars of Eternity; beautiful, though not "showy"), but, in no particular order I'd recommend:

- Dragon Age: Origins
- Everspace
- Shadow Warrior 2
- Divinity: Original Sin

As well as of course The Witcher 3, but since you were so impressed with TW2 I'm sure it was already on your radar.
Shadow Warrior 2 Deluxe
System Shock 2
Crysis
Ziggurath
Beyond Good and Evil
Assasin's Creed: Director's Cut (bit dated)
Far Cry 2 (bit dated)
Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodlines (bit dated)
Vampire The Masquerade - Redemption (bit dated)
Darksiders 1
Darksiders 2

Look out for:

Yooka-Laylee (platformer)
Psychonauts 2 (platformer)
Oblivion (before Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim)
System Shock (Remake)

Some of these might be a bit dated than you want but some upcoming games might be up your alley in case you are patient and depending on what 3D genre you're into.

He was impressed with the graphics of The Witcher. The first one. Graphically speaking, I think he'll find plenty here that he'll like. =D
