Xeshra: Holla! Power prices in Netherlands seems to be a real hard truck.

Lets see:

What Can I Unplug? These Household Items Cost the Most Electricity

Cooling and heating: 47% of energy use
Water heater: 14% of energy use
Washer and dryer: 13% of energy use
Lighting: 12% of energy use
Refrigerator: 4% of energy use
Electric oven: 3-4% of energy use
TV, DVD, cable box: 3% of energy use
Dishwasher: 2% of energy use
Computer: 1% of energy use

Okay... i guess a hardcore gamers computer is probably way more than 1%, more like 20% and the TV/monitor around 10%. Cooling and heating is definitely most expensive but not everyone is heating using electricity (some other sources instead or they live in a tropical climate... a lot of luck for power bills) and some people use no cooling at all.
I'm already planning a small homebattery solar panel system, to go off the grid concerning my PC

Cavalary: But damn it's big. This will take quite some getting used to.
That's a nice upgrade. You might wanna try one of those monitor arms. I have something like that and it is so much better than a regular monitor stand. All the space under the monitor is now available for other stuff, plus more room to adjust the monitor.

Eh, rather stick to it as it is. Plus, the desk's not as well supported as it could be on the center so better spread the weight a little instead of having it all in a single point. And those arms seem to tend to be longer than the monitor's, and I really don't want it even closer.

I see, but you can clamp it closer to a corner, doesn't need to be centered. And the arm can be rotated towards the back and have the monitor farther from you.
scored a deal on a Samsung T7 external drive SSD ..... only 50 euros but.... i also need to buy some mouthwash so that is a gain!

i just calculated the component price for my pc and all in all it ain't that bad....

If all components were newly bought... release day price i would've spend around 7000 bucks...

atm i think i only spend about 5,5
You did spend so much on your build and are not even getting the mouthwash for free as a bonus? Well... companies those days... just fail to be generous.

Okay, it can be better understood by the information that my countries biggest shop is not only selling hardware but even a lot of household-stuff including for dental use.

A new addition to the familiy!

An MSI Ventus OC 2x 8GB 5060Ti graphics card

I picked this card as it was the most powerful solution for a 8 pin power connector, MSI because of the combination with my MSI motherboard

I moved the Aorus 3090Ti a slot downwards, up on the photo. This might have been the best solution from the beginning since it seems the card is a bit cooler but... maybe also the reduction in pcie lanes, 'only' pice 5 x4 has to do something with the heat output

The 5060Ti is connected through 2 display port cables to a HD/4K monitor and a 144hz 1440p monitor

If the 3090Ti is selected as primary card the output will still go through 5060Ti, fun eh?!
