Soooo??

I Contacted GOG about a problem with Payment
in America over wanting to buy from GOG.com & GOG Galaxy...

I asked for some help about
how do I buy Games on their Service??

My Payment is from America,
& i've looked into several ways
to come up with Money to buy
something on their Shop...

The problem is, I can't find any
that work with their Service...

I've requested them to Update
their forms of Payment on GOG,
& I've even asked what forms of
Payments do they currently
support coming from America...

This being said??

Because I don't actually know,
& i've never had any issues like
this before, & this is my first time...

Normally if I buy something
like at EA Games I use EA Money,
if I use STEAM, I use STEAM Money,
& if I use PSN or X-Box, I use their Money,
but I don't see any form of GOG Money
that I can use...

Sooooo??

I've looked into Various GIFT Cards
for Visa & Master Card, & whatever
else I can find... I can't seem to figure
this out...

It's clear from the Payment Policy on
GOG, that America has to figure out
some way to Convert US Dollars into
a form of Money that is acceptable
by GOG to buy Video Games from...

Sooo?? How do I actually do this??

My Response From GOG over this matter,
has been the fact that GOG has never gotten
back to me over these Problems...

The GOG Money & Payment Politicy
does not actually state any of the Information
I am asking from GOG, & does not clearly
help in any way shape or form over this
matter...

Soooo, I am forced to ask People on GOG
how i'm supposed to resolve this matter??

I don't use a Bank Or Credit Card for the Internet,
if I ever gain any form of access to Linux on any
device that I have, I would maybe setup with something
related to Internet & Banking, but until then i'm not
hooking anything up Internet & Banking wise...

But I would still like to have access to buy GOG Games...

The problem is?? I'm not getting any Responses
from this Company at all, this is a bit concerning,
if I can't get through to them??

How am I supposed to handle payment problems,
or Refund problems, or GOG issues that I need
to Report to the Company Support??

If I can't reach them, how am I supposed to
feel as if this Platform cares about it's Customers??

If I can't reach the Support??

How am I supposed to place any form of Trust,
or Faith into this Platform at all??

Responses up to I think it was 5 Weeks??

I somehow get the feeling that was a bullsht excuse
for not answering anything that is sent to them...

My Question to People on GOG is this??

1.) What do you think about all of this??

2.) Does anyone who's bought GOG Games before,
have any form of answer to my Payment issue??

3.) Does GOG Support exist or not??

Has anyone gotten through to them, or do you never get through??

4.) What is your Experience between now & the Past with GOG??
Have you had any good or bad Experiences in the last couple of
Years with this Company, & this Platform at all??

What can you say about your Experience??

PS: I'm Not Here About Loyalty, Or Anything Related To Missinformation...

If your not interested in Responding with Legit Information, & such,
plz do not Respond at all...

Thank You In Advanced, & Happy GOGing...
In Europe/Germany, I have lots of options to buy games with or pay for wallet funds (see attached screenshot).

Is that selection so much worse in America?
Do you really want to limit yourself to gift cards? What about Paypal?

p.s. Your text formatting suxx!

So, let me get this straight:

You would like to make purchases but you don't want to use your debit card in any way.

What I think about this? Well, it's your choice and not really an issue to be addressed by the Support. And GOG doesn't sell prepaid cards like some other stores.

That being said, since you opened a ticket, you're very likely to get some answer from Support. They're just not particularly quick to respond.

I've actually used PayPal recently, & they ttried to Robb me...

I tried to use this on Battlefield 1 with EA Games,
when I couldn't make the purchase, I tried to
spend the money on anything from an Online
Purchase to a local grocery store purchase like Food...

The more, & more I struggled to find a way
to buy anything with Pay Pal, the more Pay Pal
wanted to deduct money from my Pay Pal...

Eventually, I removed all the money from my Pay Pal,
in an attempt to keep Pay Pal from Robbing me...

Since then?? I refuse to use Pay Pal anymore for anything...

I'm not saying I won't use a Banking or Credit Card for GOG,
all I have said is until I have something setup for that,
I was looking for some help on Alternatives for this...

If Anyone Knows Of Any At All??

I Won't Do Pay Pal, is there any other Options??

Probably related to you not being able to write like a normal person.
See the attached screen shot for all the payment options for those of us in the United States. There are several payment options besides bank credit cards or paypal if you don't want to use either. The wallet funds requires using one of the other payment options to create the wallet funds in the first place.

I use a bank credit card, so I can't/won't discuss the other options. I only know that they are there.

I've been using Paypal since 2008 and they never tried to "rob" me. I'm pretty sure you're doing something wrong, just like your text formatting...

It's fine if you read it like a really bad poem.

Paysafe card/voucher.
I'm glad others can make sense of your formatting because this just reads like a terrible country ballad from the early 80s to me. :/

I can't read bad poetry though (seriously, I've tried). This really did make me lose the thread of what they were on about. :/

I've never actually used one, but aren't there things like pre-paid credit cards? Like, you buy them at a store (I'm actually not sure where to buy them), load them with say $100 or whatever you want, and then use them like a credit card that you never put any more than that pre-purchased amount at risk.

That said, normal credit cards come with protections so you won't get robbed. Never had a problem that wasn't solved.

I'm also very curious as to how Paypal robbed you. I've been using them since 2000 without ever experiencing that. Are you talking about something like excess fees, or blatant theft of funds?

Braggadar: Paysafe card/voucher.
EDIT: Looks like Braggadar already found something that would work!
Link to the Paysafe card site.

I bet the OP will come up with reservations about that one, too. :-P

Besides paysafecard mentioned by Braggadar, there's also Paypal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay:

Yeah, I mean honestly, GOG's list is already quite extensive. Not sure what kind of payment method the OP would actually be happy with. Cash sent via carrier pigeon?

I mean, these days with everything online being (of course) digital in some way, some level of trust is going to be required with whichever service you choose to use. And it doesn't sound like the OP is willing to trust anyone at all.

How about something like a pre-paid Visa card straight from Visa?
