Atreyu666: I've been using Paypal since 2008 and they never tried to "rob" me. I'm pretty sure you're doing something wrong, just like your text formatting...
I hear Paypal does shave some money when transferring between currencies. But between the same currency they can't as it is too obvious.
They also had a thing where you could send up to $200 a month without fees to people, as seen as giving money to friends or family for paying for food or things. But again works best between the same currency, and 'friends' doesn't have a business protection to force a refund in the event of a scam or bad seller.
GuRuAsaki2098: It's clear from the Payment Policy on GOG, that America has to figure out some way to Convert US Dollars into a form of Money that is acceptable by GOG to buy Video Games from...
I was sure the credit card transaction system they had set up handled that; Though they didn't like gift visas for some reason, probably because those are intended within the US and not internationally.
My advice is not to buy digital goods right now. If you can't own the product you're buying (
including transferring or selling said game to someone else), best not to spend.
GilesHabibula: How about something like
a pre-paid Visa card straight from Visa? Make sure it's an international one, as Cirux (
or whatever the bank is) is not within the US.
