Hi,

Moo2 on GoG has two black strips on the side.

Played this years ago and remember it being full screen.

Tried Alt+Enter but it goes dark and becomes a smaller windows window of the game.

Dosbox configure is on:

Windows resolution: original

Scaling engine: Normal 2 x

Graphic mode: overlay

Full screen: tick

Grateful for any help.

You should do aspect=false, this will stretch it, but it will not look original

MOO2 is made for 4:3 aspect ratio, your new screen has 19:9, so keeping original makes black bars.

No. aspect=false has nothing to do with this. That's used only to convert non-square pixel resolutions (like 640x400) into the correct ones.

What OP has to change is fullresolution option. Change it to that of your monitor (e.g. 1920x1080), though as hohiro said it will be stretched and not be like original, which was meant for 4:3 aspect ration.

Alternatively, you can change the scaling option in your graphics card panel (set it to something like Full Scaling instead of Maintain Aspect Ratio).

It did NOT get removed but Antarans are an option when you set up a new game. If you do not pick that option there will be no Antarans and no need for the portal.

I would not stretch the image but everyone does as they like. Try both and pick the one you like.
