Another push (or an attempt at that) to get the following (minus MissionForce: CyberStorm) re-released on GoG / via the Preservation Program:

Metaltech / Earthsiege series:
Metaltech: Battledrome (1994) (Legacy votes)
Metaltech: EarthSiege (1994) / Metaltech: EarthSiege - Expansion Pack (1995)

MissionForce: CyberStorm (1996) on GoG
Cyberstorm 2: Corporate Wars (1998)

EarthSiege 2 (1996)

Starsiege / Tribes series:
Starsiege: Tribes (1998)

Starsiege (1999)

Tribes 2 (2001)
Tribes: Vengeance (2004)
Tribes: Ascend (2012)

ISOs / .zip archives for

Metaltech: EarthSiege
EarthSiege 2
Starsiege & Starsiege: Tribes
Tribes 2
Tribes: Vengeance

as well as the 2002 PS2 remake of Tribes 2, Tribes: Aerial Assault had been officially made available for free via tribesuniverse.com in 2015.
The site has been discontinued in or around October 2023, the download links however are still functional:

Metaltech: EarthSiege
EarthSiege 2
Starsiege&Starsiege: Tribes
Tribes 2
(CD-Key: TUN9-FAB4-DUW8-ZAB7-4847 is required, apparently)
Tribes: Vengeance

Tribes: Aerial Assault

2012's Tribes: Ascend is available for free over on the other platform, maybe GoG could convince the "current owners of the Metaltech license, including Battledrome, Earthsiege, Starsiege, the CyberStorm series, and the Tribes series", Hi-Rez Studios to bring it here as well.

High time these get long overdue re-releases indeed.
Should be merely a matter of reaching out to Hi-Rez, if they do own the rights to all of it.

Of course, making sure that they're compatible with and run stable under current OSs would be a different matter, but first things first and see if there's interest on their part.

Yes, please.
Wouldn't even mind to pay for the games that were made available for free, and still are, it looks like. If priced reasonably, of course.

GoG could list them (with Hi-Rez's approval) for free again just as well, but I wouldn't be opposed to chuck a few eurodollars their way, too.
Would be only fair, considering that most of them probably need touching up and QA passes on GoG's part, in terms of compatibility and such.

Not sure why these aren't here already, I imagine Hi-Rez would gladly take GOG up on their offer to host or even sell them (for Hi-Rez) here.

it's Hi-Rez and co we're talking here. c'mon. one of the crappiest and stupidest companies. who seems to hate Metaltech franchise and its fans. they'd rather die than do something like bringing even the now freeware installments here.
HI-REZ:
"COMPANY OVERVIEW

Our marketing department likes to say stuff like, "Hi-Rez Studios is an industry-leading video game developer at the forefront of the free-to-play, games as a service model." But we're just gamers, with love and skill to make games that anyone can play regardless of income or platform. Hi-Rezzers are fueled by our game communities and the love they have for the realms and battlegrounds that we are lucky enough to create and grow. Our games have been played by more than 70 million people worldwide on PC, mobile, and console, which blows our minds. Our experiences with such an awesome collection of gamers is the major reason why we are trailblazers of the F2P and cross-play movements. We want all of our players to be able to game with their friends regardless of platform, just as we like to game with ours."

Says to me they're only interested in the troll masses on any kind of multiplayer game.
Just because their current company description is obviously more reflective of their current line-up of MOBAs and online hero shooters doesn't automatically imply a complete disregard of their back catalogue.

Reaching out and ask if Hi-Rez would be interested in re-releases of the Metaltech, Earthsiege, Starsiege & Tribes franchises on GoG is the least GoG should do.
And if they decline the first time around, just keep trying - wouldn't be the first time that there's reconsideration and the green light is given after all.
Maybe they aren't on GOG (except for Missionforce: Cyberstorm) or anywhere else for that matter, because Hi-Rez has never been asked?
