Fun right off the bat!

Yooka-Laylee is a delightful 3D action/platformer with a cute chameleon and a chatty bat teaming-up against some rather oddball enemies, and it's coming DRM-free on GOG.com. Looking forward to meeting the cast? Then check out this neat new trailer where our dynamic duo crosses paths with an evil-looking duck, an entrepreneurial snake in pants, and a certain Knight that everybody digs, among many others.

Designed as a spiritual successor to beloved platformers of yore like the Donkey Kong Country games and Banjo-Kazooie, and developed by a team consisting of several alumni of these classics, Yooka-Laylee carries many of their signature sensibilities and offbeat humor. Players will explore vast and beautiful worlds, combine the duo's unique powers, and overcome imaginative puzzles and platforming challenges, trying to stop Capital B's malevolent plans. Scooping up the crazy collectibles scattered all over the place might be a good start on that end.

Check out the trailer and get ready for some 3D platforming goodness:

DeadjackFr: N.B: Reminds me some of the Golden Eye 64 team who worked on TimeSplitters 2 and 3.
" Doctor Doak"... for thoses who played "Facility" level in Golden Eye, Mister Ellis Doak was part of TimeSplitter's team.
Another excellent game i still have in game library.
Yeah, Timesplitters was made by a load of ex Rare employees from the Golden Eye era, my favourite FPSs. Such a shame Crytek bought up and ruined Free Radical (though I think the main players had already left by then anyway). According to wiki Doak went on to make Facebook games for awhile :(

Looks really fun, and remind me to old classics
Don't know if someone read my post or whether it's a coincidence, but the game's in the upcoming tab now. Cheers on that!
I really really liked all the character introductions, and then they spent the final third of the video on an amazingly tedious scene, with a horrid voice saying "yo oh yo oh ho oh yo oh yo oh yo" seemingly forever.

That's Whoa to Go and almost immediately back to Whoa again, in under two minutes.

This game is still coming to gog, right? It's gog entry seems to have disappeared from the Coming Soon section.

Should still be coming. They possibly removed it to prepare it for preorder:
