Fun right off the bat!

Yooka-Laylee is a delightful 3D action/platformer with a cute chameleon and a chatty bat teaming-up against some rather oddball enemies, and it's coming DRM-free on GOG.com. Looking forward to meeting the cast? Then check out this neat new trailer where our dynamic duo crosses paths with an evil-looking duck, an entrepreneurial snake in pants, and a certain Knight that everybody digs, among many others.

Designed as a spiritual successor to beloved platformers of yore like the Donkey Kong Country games and Banjo-Kazooie, and developed by a team consisting of several alumni of these classics, Yooka-Laylee carries many of their signature sensibilities and offbeat humor. Players will explore vast and beautiful worlds, combine the duo's unique powers, and overcome imaginative puzzles and platforming challenges, trying to stop Capital B's malevolent plans. Scooping up the crazy collectibles scattered all over the place might be a good start on that end.

Check out the trailer and get ready for some 3D platforming goodness:

I'm very much looking forward to this one. I just hope my aging Win PC is going to be up to snuff to actually run it.
That looks really charming!
Oh, wow, this is a real surprise! Did not think, that this comes to gog.com :)
I hope TEAM17 don't screw us over and that Playtonic keep the GOG version up to date!

So excited to relive one of my favourite games in spiritual succession form!

Me want! :)
Looks like one of the awful kids show on Nickelodeon.
But I am glad Team17 didn't make another Worm out of it.
Although I haven't played this Banjo-Kazooie or Donkey Kong games, Yooka reminds me of those fine PSX era platformers like Crash Bandicoot & Spyro the Dragon. Looks nice & whimsical!
Looks awesome, can't wait!

Charming? I take it you didn't get the trouser snake bit lol.
Looks interesting :-)
looking forward to this :)
So basically we can expect that Team17 will only release on some of the platforms Yooka-Laylee is, supposed to be, released on here and then leave it feature incomplete compared to Steam.

I'm also confused as to why they went with a publisher when the Kickstarter said they wouldn't unless said publisher would benefit their fans and backers. I haven't exactly seen Team17 do well in that area.

I guess we'll see how it pans out once released and we see how things are handled here.

I did. I am charmed in sometimes questionable ways. :)
I loved Banjo-Kazooie and Donkey Kong 64 so I have high hopes for this... looks like it should be good fun, as long as the worlds and platforming are good.
