Like the title says, I'm looking for some good sci-fi shows. Just finished Battlestar Galactica (new one), and am almost finished with Stargate Atlantis. Any recommendations? Can be old or new, foreign, etc. Not too big of a fan of anime, however I did enjoy Blue Gender,.
If you enjoyed both those shows, you might like Stargate Universe, which is where they both meet, after a fashion. It is really well written and has a fascinating premise.
The Expanse is okay, but is still ongoing, so you'll have to wait a year between new seasons. Also I suspect the series will get less interesting from now on (as the plot takes a new turn towards an almost different style of science fiction).

And of course, in a very different style, less gritty and less pseudo-realistic, more quirky and self-aware of its cheese, there's the modern Doctor Who series. Which first 4 or 5 seasons are pretty strong. Qualifies as scifi I guess.

And if you tolerate anime, there's Cowboy Bebop. The series and the film (which should be watched either after the series, or before the last couple of episodes). It's pretty wonderful, actually. And this comes from someone who dislikes animes in general.

Aaaaand of course of course...

And then there is good old Babylon 5 from the 1990's. Production values are as you might expect for such an old show, but the scope and the storytelling are .. um .. out of this world.
You're looking for Lexx :D
A second vote for Babylon 5, especially if you liked the new Battlestar Galactica. The story and characterization in Babyon 5 is first rate.
Are you interested only in "space" sci-fi? Star Trek is a classic - did you watched it?

IMHO, it's a bit of a drag in many episodes. I prefere the game.

Third vote for Babylon 5. Clicked as soon as I saw the topic title to mention it. For me it's still the best show ever made. Sure, they had few of the "toys" available now, but... what StarChan said about scope and storytelling.
Caught some episodes and parts of others when it was on TV here around 2000, stuck in my mind as "the" show I need to watch, and when I finally did get around to watching it properly in 2007 I feared I'll be disappointed, too high expectations. And I shouldn't have feared at all, still was all I thought and then some.
There's Black Mirror if you want an anthology, Stranger Things if you want something 80s flavored, Westworld if you want something heady, Altered Carbon if you want something pulpy, and Legion if you want a wild ride.

Agreed. It definitely ranks as probably our (wife and I) favorite Sci-Fi series, no matter it's age. For six months we were working in a more remote location during it's original showing in the late 1990's and a few of us drove into a city not quite an hour away to rent a motel room (which had the cable channel) for our weekly Babylon 5 showing party - it's that good. :)
Definitely Babylon 5. However The Expanse is more than okay; by the third season I was getting a noticeable Babylon 5 vibe from it. The first season didn't really grab me though. But then, the first season of Babylon 5 was weaker than the rest too.
If you're a Star Wars fan, I highly recommend Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Some of the best Star Wars storylines and characters ever crafted. I also recommend Stargate Universe. When it came out, Battlestar Galactica had just ended and fans were complaining that SG:U was trying to copy it but it was really it's own unique show. Amazing characters and some intense and fascinating episodes/story arcs/character motivations. And if you're interested in something with a similar vibe/style to Stargate: Atlantis (made by the same creators, in fact), Dark Matter is a fun and fairly campy/b-movie-esque show that's entertaining to watch, with some pretty neat moments and solid enough writing/enjoyable characters. Hope that helps!
Classic Dr. Who.
William Hartnell was fantastic, as was Jon Pertwee. None of the classic Doctors were bad, but those two are the best, and Sylvester McCoy is also very good.
If you absolutely cannot stand black & white TV (shame!), start with Jon Pertwee.

Twitch sometimes rebroadcasts them on twitch.tv/twitchpresents.

If you like radio shows/podcasts, you can hunt archive.org for public domain (free) Old-Time Radio (OTR) shows from the Golden Age of Radio; specifically the OTR shows "X Minus One" and "Dimension X."

Are you sure that you're not confusing Clone Wars with Star Wars: Rebels?
Since people here already suggested good space sci-fi (and yes, Babylon 5 has the best story and most well-crafterd lore), I would name a few good anime similar to Blue:

Neon Genesis Evangelion (I suggest TV-series, not OVA)
Tekkaman Blade (the one released in 92-93)
And Robotech/Macross - that's classics.
