Promo: WEEKLY SALE: FINE REFRESHMENTS - UP TO 90% OFF
Bug: Countdown clock is 12 hours longer. Same bug as the 3 Aug one. (GOG used to set countdown clock 12 hours shorter in many past promos.)

Bug: countdown mismatched with the announcement, not sure which one is correct
The games are still on the "on sale now"-list but there is no discount. So the mail announcement (ending 7 aug) seems to be wrong. Sad, thought I'd pick up Rise of an Empire. It did say weekend sale though so ...

This thread did help GOG staff to fix their wrong clocks.

Besides, this thread have proved several facts:
1. GOG often set their clocks wrong, for years.
2. GOG fix bugs very very slowly, and let quite some bugs unfixed (Some countdown clocks never got fixed till the promo end.)
3. GOG is not trustworthy. (I will never trust a company that can not set their clocks right.)

EDIT: The countdown clock for the Hidden Object promo is 1 day shorter than what?
I can't see any discrepancy.

At this point, many of us are well aware of how you feel about GOG. Currently your complaints just come across as a broken record and annoying.

Also, we don't have to trust GOG; currently we can download and back up our games so if GOG totally buggers something we still have our games. (though I know few people do that)

I reported this bug over 4 days ago, and GOG still fix nothing.
(GOG Support ticket #296910)

GOG claimed that the promo ends at August 30th 5pm UTC, but the discount have stopped 3 days earlier.

No, they didn't the new page literally states it ends August 27th at 5pm UTC
