Treasure: The differences between the 2 editions are detailed here, just in case you're curious...
This version adds the option of a third person perspective, as well as walking animations for the sections of the game in which Holmes and Watson are together

Meh. No more creepy teleporting Watson.
thanks guys,. i was missing some manuals.. most noticible the sherlock holmes sales bundle.

Great! Treasure uses pokeball...err, I mean... I examined the manuals you linked to and the quickref is no different from the one gog provides. The manual is worthwhile though and I'll be adding it to my gogmix -I'll have to upload it somewhere else though because Mediafire...eh...
edit-ok,uploaded, now I wonder whether I should remove the french version of the quickstart in order to quote my source for the english manual or not...

The link to download a manual for VR Soccer '96 (it's the same as Actua Soccer) was already posted here - https://www.gog.com/forum/vr_soccer_96/manual/post1

Or you can use this one (but the 1st one is better) - http://replacementdocs.com/download.php?view.2113

But is it the same game? According to the GOGmix "However,"half the things the manual says you can do, cannot be done in VR Soccer '96" (from posidyn.com)"

Great! I switched the link to your dropbox one as it contained less characters in the link -the gogmix allows 250 characters per entry- (I also own a dropbox account, but I usually don't feel like logging in there just to upload a pdf), but after doing this I still had barely enough space to fit the username of the guy to whom we owe thanks, let alone mention he's a redditor. At any rate thanks again both to you and him!

No problem, I got Afterlife in the bundle sale and hated having no manual, so, I spent the last 48 hours looking for a PDF, only found a shitty mac scan, but then found the lucasarts subreddit earlier this morning then the dude scanned it and the QRC and BAM there you go. personally I think the one I got is a bit better then the one gog has, but thats just me and my bias.

Hetre's my source for the fact that these 2 games aren't all that similar:
http://www.posidyn.com/games/vrsoccer96/
There's a section specifically about the lack of manual in the gog version where amongst others is mentioned the above quote. The gogmix that existed before my own also thought they were the same game but with a different title btw.
p.s. I found that site because posidyn is also a gog member and, from what I recall, posted once or twice to bring attention to his site.

So is the "quickstart" included with the game the same file as the "Readme" in the second link in your post? If so, I'll remove it from the list.

The game has horrible controls, that's why he probably said he wasn't able to do some things mentioned in the manual (especially some advanced techniques).

Yes, its basically a Quick reference card.

Thanks.

Mobygames mentions too that it's the same game, just a different title between European and American version.

Thanks. Removed from list. I'll only keep the manual in it then.

OK, since every source seems I googled seems to suggest VR Soccer and Actua Soccer are the same game, I've added the link to it. I'll keep VR soccer in Wanted List however, in case anyone has the manual for VR Soccer, it would be good to check if there are any differences.
