This helped me tremendously. Just wanted to say thanks. I just grabbed Afterlife a couple of nights ago after not playing it for close to 20 years (I've wasted a couple of ENTIRE NIGHTS getting reacquainted/losing sleep). Anyway, I'd found your link on my phone -- briefly read through the manual, bookmarked it. Later I went to play, had a great game going, making money instead of hemorrhaging it early on, everything balanced and evolving just great... when the cursor arrow suddenly stopped moving into the top of the frame where the File, etc. commands are.

I had JUST gotten everything repaired after a Paradise Pair O' Dice attack, set the game cautiously on Hounds Outta Hell, it was humming along, and I got a planetary disaster alert, so I went to change the speed to Divine Intervention and couldn't do it. I panicked. Couldn't slow, pause, save, nothin'. THEN I remembered your file on my phone, grabbed it, and found the page with all the keyboard commands. Managed to save and quit before losing too many souls. I owe you a beautiful, smoothly functioning hereafter.

I shrunk the manual down to 13mb to fit on mobile devices, but it seems I'm not allowed to post links yet T_T
