Return to Castle Wolfenstein runs perfectly without Steam, Though you cannot play multiplayer. Additionally, in case anyone is wondering, the Co-op mod runs perfectly without Steam as well.

Anyone know if Dark Souls II is DRM-free? *winces*

EDIT: I had a friend try a couple things, and it seems like Dark Souls II does in fact require Steam, as expected.

I Have lost my way and i have seen to late that GOG is the same godless thing like Steam.

New Entry - Tropico 3 Gold Edition (Steam Special Edition + Absolute Power Expansion Pack)

1. Download the Official Patch Version 2.01 but do not install it, instead open the patch itself with 7-Zip and extract just the "Tropico3.exe" and overwrite the Steam one.

2. NOTICE: The 3 files below are automatically deleted by Steam the first time you run the game through the Steam Client and that also means you can skip this step entirely.

But if you download the game > Replace the exe right away and never run the game through Steam, then keep reading (if you don't remove these files you'll encounter texture errors).

After applying the DRM-Free Executable go in your Tropico 3 game folder and delete the following 3 files:

(a) %TROPICO 3 FOLDER%\Packs\Patches\binassets.hpk
(b) %TROPICO 3 FOLDER%\Packs\Patches\Boot\Data.hpk
(c) %TROPICO 3 FOLDER%\Packs\Patches\Preload\fallback.hpk

Yeah, but this is for games that are effectively without DRM.

Replacing the Exe with the Official patch makes the game DRM-Free.

Anno 1404 (also known as Dawn of Discovery) and the Venice expansion are now DRM-free. They initially retained TAGES as Ubi hadn't finished updating the games prior to returning them to the store, but about a week later they were patched again to 1.3/2.1 respectively, and both lack CEG ("Steam DRM").

What OS- win, mac, linux? I added the game to the list, but waiting for confirmation.

I just added the two Early Acces titles Broforce and Narcissu 1st & 2nd. The latter one is also free, so that's really cool =).

I bought the Steamworks version of Sir, you are being hunted with refund money somewhere else, and it launches fully without Steam.

Why is Hunted the Demon,s Forge not on the list?
