I'm so glad to hear your liked the game! I read
this review here and got a little worried, although I felt something about it was suspicious (I just thought the author had a really bad writing style, or maybe my headache was not permitting me to follow through with his sentences). I'm a huge King's Quest fan (well, honestly, I just liked 6 and 5, although liking 5 seems to put me in a minority), so I would've been sad if it sucked.
So yes, I'd like to be in!
In recent years, I've shifted more towards indie adventure games. I frequented the Adventure Game Studio (Blackwell games, Heroine's Quest, Resonance, etc.) forums for years, and they have some quality stuff. Proper "commercial" games sorely disappointed me after the 90s (last physical CD adventure game I bought was Syberia, and although it wasn't
bad, I felt something had been lost. I backed the Broken Age kickstarter ($30 is probably the most I've ever spent on a single game), and while I'm satisfied I got my money's worth, some things (lack of LOOK interaction, proper integration of puzzles and story, etc.) disappointed me there too.
