Not in because i plan to buy the thing when it's all out. But thanks and +1.
You made me curious. Count me in.
Count me in!

Thanks!

The last adventure game I played was Broken Age.
I thought it was great, as a backer it was pretty much what I expected.

I've played nearly all the KQ games, and have been looking forward to it's revival with some trepidation, but much of what has been said has allayed my fears of the worst.
Although it looks like they've turned King Graham into Guybrush.

+1 for being the brave soul who tried it early AND for your generous giveaway.

Okay, I'm in

As for adventure games. I usually am playing one, when I seriously play anything at all. I've been rather busy lately, so mostly its been quick games of solitaire or something like that in the last week or two.

But this giveaway inspired me to pick up my replay of Sam & Max: Hit the Road

Not in. Thank you for your this giveaway, +1.
I'm so glad to hear your liked the game! I read this review here and got a little worried, although I felt something about it was suspicious (I just thought the author had a really bad writing style, or maybe my headache was not permitting me to follow through with his sentences). I'm a huge King's Quest fan (well, honestly, I just liked 6 and 5, although liking 5 seems to put me in a minority), so I would've been sad if it sucked.

So yes, I'd like to be in!

In recent years, I've shifted more towards indie adventure games. I frequented the Adventure Game Studio (Blackwell games, Heroine's Quest, Resonance, etc.) forums for years, and they have some quality stuff. Proper "commercial" games sorely disappointed me after the 90s (last physical CD adventure game I bought was Syberia, and although it wasn't bad, I felt something had been lost. I backed the Broken Age kickstarter ($30 is probably the most I've ever spent on a single game), and while I'm satisfied I got my money's worth, some things (lack of LOOK interaction, proper integration of puzzles and story, etc.) disappointed me there too.

haha ah yes. Heres the only line of that review you need to read:
"The original series were mostly terrible, twee and poorly constructed adventure games,"
That guy doesnt like adventure games.
I didnt like all of them either. But when theyr good, theyr really good :)

That is some amazing giveaway man! +1 and I am not in.

I am happy to see that the quality of this game is beyond good. I had high hopes for it after seeing the trailer but I always keep my expectations low.

But damn people praise this game like it is coming of jesus.

Some sites like "http://www.destructoid.com/" write stuff like this:

I never would have expected it to be this good, much less a serious Game of the Year contender.

*Edit - Fixed double line.

yeah, i think that has to be a part of the positive reaction, because my expectations were low too. I dont love the episodic format. The first teaser they showed for the game made it look too action driven. So a lot of people probably thought we were getting a 2ish hour introduction to a telltale-look-alike. But what we got is so much better than that. Its a 5-6 hour episode that stands on its own, tells a full story and tells it well. So its hard not to be really happy about it :)

You heard him GOG staff? Get this game here! asap :D
I'm definitely in! I think I'll like the episode.
A big +1 to you and a very tempting giveaway. The main reason I'm not entering is that I play mostly on Android.

The last game I tried to play was Gabriel Knight 20th Anniversary, which unfortunately had just enough technical niggles on my tablet that I decided not to really get into it.

I need to get back to The Dig, which I'm also running in SCUMMVM on the tablet, and I generally enjoy, although I get stuck occasionally, currently with that skeleton I need to assemble.

What I do enjoy quite a bit is playing the Sorcery! games. Not exactly adventure games in the classic sense, but good fun.
I'd like to be counted in. I'm really reluctant to give ActiBlizz any money.

Adventure games were always my favorite genre, with the LucasArts bunch being a big chunk of my very first games. Much like I always have a book I'm reading, there is always an adventure I'm currently playing.

At the moment, the slot is filled with Darkness Within 2, really great horror game. I'm also enjoying the Quest for Glory series for the first time, albeit this fills my "game I play several hours per sitting"-slot ;)
