I'm looking for games like kings quest. I loved the storyline with the point and click adventure style. I'm so bummed I can't play on my Mac

Check out the Quest for Glory, which is kind of like King's Quest, only better.

Not sure if you can run those on a MAC, though. Probably not.

You could look into using Boxer (DOSBox for Mac) with Kings Quest, if you want to get into the technical side of things.

As for p'n'c I'll suggest Pajama Sam Vol. 1 (which has Pajama Sam No Need to Hide and Pajama Sam Thunder & Lightning) since those have Mac versions, but those may be too simple for your tastes since they are aimed at children.

Check out The Legend of Kyrandia trilogy. It definitely took a lot of inspiration from King's Quest, it's also a solid series of point & click adventure on it's own and it's available for MAC here on GOG.

King's Quest 1-7 are all playable on mac, easily:

IMO, the best point and click adventures are the Lucasarts ones!

Except Quest for Glory has fights and RPG progression. What can be good for one player can upset the other.
