Actually I have no idea if is ok to post this here, or if there is a specific topic for this kind of thing.

I have a key for The Witcher I: Enhanced Edition and I'd like to trade it with another player for other game key, or even Steam Cards or something like that.

I'm not trying to get the full cost of the game, so I'm open for offers.

I think everyone and their dog has The Witcher 1 around here, but good luck with that. I think you might find it hard even to give away the key for free. Except to some scammers or leaches perhaps.

Don't get your hopes up though trying to find anyone to trade with - you'll be hard pressed to find many people who don't already have the game here and even harder pressed to compete with the countless numbers of people unsuccessfully trying to give their copies away.

Considering they have given it away for free a number of times (and are doing so now as part of the Gwent beta) I really doubt you'll get much for it...

I had a feeling that was it, though I'll wait to hear it from the OP. Not here to condemn the poor guy I just think it behooves traders to be up front about that.

It's not free now, but it was given away free a while ago.

Either way you got it for free yourself, and yet you're asking something for it.

If you can find someone to go for that fine, more power to you, but it does kind of make you look like a douche.

A lot of people trade keys for keys, or keys for other stuff, doesn't matter if you got it for free, for low price, or high price, it's a key and it has a value.

There it is. Maybe someone wants it and couldn't get it for free. And it's willing to trade for any spare key they have.

I'm not here to judge you or tell you what you can or cannot do, only to tell you how asking for a trade like this is going to come across. Again, it's your code, handle it as you wish, and maybe you'll get a taker.
