I have been eyeing this game, specifically this game's DLC for awhile now because this trailer got me interested:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNOy63UZXvM

Its perhaps the closest thing we are gonna get to a Medieval 3 Total War. And I loved Medieval 2.

So anyway is this DLC worth it? To anyone who has it?
bump?
I don't see it available for sale here, so clearly it's not worth it. No DRMed product is worth more than $0.

Duly noted.

Now anyone else may offer some wise words of wisdom?

Or can we get to the topic at hand please?

No offense to anyone.
Attila is essentially Rome 2 and looking at how bad that game is in comparison to other older Total War titles I would wait for minimum 75-80% on the game + dlc.

I seldom get games before they aren't at least 75% off preferably with all DLCs included, and all this shouldn't exceed about 12 euros. TW: Attila costs 40 euros + DLCs another 63 euros, so it would need an 85-90% cut for me to begin to look appealing. So not worth it. Btw is TW: Attila a DLC? Then now DLCs have DLC? DLCeption.

Yes I am aware of the horror that is Rome 2's launch and I have seen this perticular youtuber's review of the game (its not Angry Joe mind you)

I don't know about Atilla's side though and I just want to know if DLC to that game is worth it?

At worst its a glorifyed Expansion to Rome 2. (Similar to Napeleon compared to Empire Total War)

And there have been "DLC with DLC"

Ultima 7 Part 2 with The Silver Steed addon.

I played Rome 2 after launch all patched up and the game is still a beta version. Granted they did patch it up so that its playable. Regarding Attila dlc - just look at negative reviews for it. Basically its a reskin and nothing else. As said buy it when its discounted by 75% minimum.

A reskin yes but it contains a skin that I like.
If you already like it, probably not going to matter if anyone says it's not worth it anyway.

Don't have / haven't played Rome II or Attila. But if you loved so much Medieval II, you can just wait for Medieval III that will eventually be made by CA soon and in the meantime just replay MII. There is so much content in there (especially if you have the expansions) that should keep your interest until MIII comes out. ;)

Also, just watched the trailer; another pretty but useless trailer that shows no actual gameplay. Thank GOG for the let's play videos on YT. :)

As a final note, if you haven't played Shogun II yet, give it a try. Although smaller in scope than most Total War games (it's just Japan), is a great game (and Darth Mod complements it greatly). It's one of those games I have on Steam that prevent me from closing my account there. As I said above though, I've never played the newer Total War games (and I doubt I will since I'm finished with Steam).

Cheers!

I have Shogun 2 yes (thanks to Darthspudius), but installing it is gonna take forever. Especially having a brother in the same house that needs a perfect internet speed for his online gaming needs.

And here is the gameplay footage of Age of Charlemange:

1.Buy Rome 2
2.Install Age of Bronze
3.Be happy about your last total war game
4.Install DeI
5.Be happy about your last total war game
6.Install Vae Victis
7.You know the drill m8
7.Install CAC
8.......
9.Install Constantine : Rise of Christianity
10............
11.Install Spartacus Rises
12..........................

DON'T BUY ATTILA. Holy hell Shogun 2 shows the what is possible with a ''true'' TW game and that engine. Like you'd seriously get it so you can see your 90 y/o eunuch faction leader industrially produce heirs on a quarterly basis. I never got the Attila hype. Campaign features don't make up for possibly the worst battle system in TW I hear.

And about TWH. Which WON'T support modding. lol who'd spend money or more importantly time on that when you can't play vanilla, get bored, get mods and feel like a god? Rome 2 was the last it seems. Attila just seems like a mod of it. And ofc that ''next gen GPU'' shit. And that gate hacking shit, and that dark age ice age shit.

Why need modding at all for Warhammer Total War when Medieval 2 is still making content mods like this?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBJHCVk1UvM

And you know aswell as I do that modding in TWH will just be used to "unlock" the other factions. Instead of making something like Wacraft Total War.

Nah those faction unlock mods will be taken down if that faction is gonna become DLC. And TWC won't host it, so it won't be on Steam workshop or on TWC, so it'll obsolete. As to what the devs will do; they certainly won't break the short leash they're bound to follow with Games Workshop; so if it ain't WH, it won't be on TWH from the part od the devs, which is sad as they could've made stuff like you said since they're doing some engine overhauls for air units and ground-land warfare. The malicious thing is that they don't even release allow the fanbase to dream either. I can only imagine how those Rally Point guys do WH voices.
