Darvond: I like to gauge the health of GOG as a workplace from their job openings.

As of this writing (read the post date), they are looking for a QA engineer, a Data Engineer, a "store communication specialist"(?), a financial analyst, and two helpdesk positions.

So that's two incredibly dull data entry positions, some marketing hogwash, a glorified book keeper, and two remote positions.

Because why would you leave France, and move to Poland just to do customer support?
One could argue that all but the book keeper are non-physical positions, but for the sake of GOG's tax break...I don't think these are exactly unattractive prospects, except there's a few questions.
1) Where did the last book keeper go? Were they caught skimming the numbers?
2) The heck is the "Store communication specialist"?
3) What specific engineering does a glorified storefront need?
I’m happy to clear up some things. :)
1) I can assure you that’s not the case. :P
2) You can find all details about the position (including the scope of responsibilities) in the job ad. Tldr, a Store Communication Specialist is responsible for communicating news about GOG to other brands and our partners.
3) QA Engineers and Data Engineers are responsible for the development and testing of GOG GALAXY and the GOG.COM Store. Again, more info is available directly on the job offer’s page.
Hope that helps!
