Linko64: I'll give you a hand

If people are talking about a business, in this case, GOG, and the recent struggles, for someone to pop up and simply say 'well it's not doing as well as Steam!' is just posting for the sake of it with nothing to input, hence why I met silliness with silliness. Which you've just then extended. More than happy to play conkers fella, you just have to ask

*P.S constantly dragging Steam into the frame is frankly one of the reasons GOG ran into struggles, to begin with, but people on here seem to struggle with the idea the two companies are not even in the same league never mind pitch, to focus on the false idea they are is a huge waste of time.

Tokyo_Bunny_8990: Definitely but the argument was that GOG was losing money with the Devotion debacle being one of its key persisting issues. If GOG did something that steam did not, namely they did not release Devotion while Steam did, I would understand. But both companies essentially took the same action. I suppose the argument that steam audiences just didn't care while GOG does is the only conclusion.

Time4Tea: I think one reason why the Devotion debacle went down worse with GOG users than on Steam may be because a larger proportion of GOG users care about ethics, which is why they support DRM-free gaming in the first place. Many Steam users seem not to really give a shit, as long as they continue to get their cheap, convenient games.
Hey, is Devotion on Zoom yet, Mr. Zoom Spokesperson?
