Pay with one click, avoid additional bank fees, and track your gaming budget!

Today, we're rolling out the GOG Wallet, a highly-requested quality-of-life feature aimed at gamers who frequently face international bank fees, use pre-paid debit cards, or prefer the extra convenience and control over their budget.

The GOG Wallet is designed to be user-friendly and flexible: top-up your Wallet with any amount between 5 USD and 500 USD (or the local equivalent) using any payment method; if you're using a pre-paid card, or you're just a bit short on Wallet funds, you can easily combine GOG Wallet funds with other payment methods during checkout. It's easy, fast, and totally safe.

Additionally, any store credit earned with the Fair Price Package (if a product costs more in your country than in the US, we always make up the difference) will now be automatically added to your GOG Wallet funds. Nobody likes to take time out of their gaming to do math, so we're doing it for you!

To kickstart your GOG Wallet and learn about the details, make your way to www.gog.com/wallet.

skeletonbow: I hope Gwent has microtransitions! After playing No Man's Sky with its painfully slow macrotransitions that lock up the entire user interface for 30 seconds every time some insignificant event happens or during dialogue etc., I greatly welcome microtransitions as I'm impatient!
EDIT.
I mistunderstand this message.

LiefLayer: I don't know anything about No Man's Sky but I don't want any microtransitions games here on gog. in-game items are locked by drm (log in and online) by default so it is not compatible with gog.

Anyway there are good games and bad games, maybe No Man's Sky is just a bad games... but we are not talking about bad games, we are talking about what is compatible with gog and what is not compatible. I don't care if you want to pay microtransitions on Gwent, but if you will be able to do that on gog, gog will be a generic store like humblebundle.

PS. and I think you are stupid because only stupid like microtransitions
And I think you're stupid because you don't have a sense of humour, nor do you know how to spell "micro-transactions", not "micro-transitions".

I'm not english native speaker. I'm not going to live in an English country (for now), so to me it's more than enough to understand and be understood.
Maybe that's why I don't understand your humor (english humor?).

PS also it was a typo that I copy&paste

Maybe don't call people stupid if you don't understand the language they're using then? Just an idea. By the way, I don't really think you're stupid but I was a little surprised that you felt the need to throw that at me while not understanding what I actually said and wanted to highlight that for you. :)

skeletonbow made a gentle joke that had nothing to do with you personally. You outright insulted them, and derailed the conversation by doing so.

Unless you think 'idiot' means something nice, you knew exactly what you were doing and it's not acceptable in any language.
So coming from the just received user agreements change from gog I guess we shall see trading cards, gems and such stuff soon and wallet was really just the introduction.

section 6.16 of gog user agreement:

"6.16 With certain GOG content you may be able to purchase or acquire virtual items and/or virtual currency (we’ll call them “Virtual Goods” for short). "

So the joke was "microtransitions" instead of "microtransations"... I usually understand what I read but this time I mistunderstand.
in my previous message I even said that it was a copy&paste typo, but when I saw it was in your message I finally understand what you really mean. I'm sorry, next time I will pay more attention.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided's microtransactions????

It will be cool to have that game here...
I hope in the future GOG add more currencies. For now, this is useless for me.
Being able to use Bitcoin as a payment method to fund the wallet or just directly pay for games would be much better.

Or sell GOG prepaid cards that we could buy from resellers with cash or bitcoin would be a huge improvement.
I like the idea to have a wallet to avoid bank fees. But the "Pay with one click" scares me. I do want to have a confirmation before I spend my money on anything. And requiring the broken two step login for it sadly keeps me out.
