UPDATE: Last chance to grab your games from the original list! Make sure to get them until June 8, 12:59 PM UTC.

Want more games? We've got more games! Three new titles are now available through GOG Connect:

- Kona
- Defender's Quest
- Door Kickers

You can get them until June 13, 1:59 PM UTC.

Today, we're launching a new program called GOG Connect. The premise is simple: connect your Steam account and add your eligible games to your GOG.com library.

Whether you're checking us out for the first time or have been with us for a while, GOG Connect gets you DRM-free versions of your games, digital extras, and a whole lot of freedom of choice (like whether you go with the GOG Galaxy client or not). It gets you our take on game ownership, and we say: why buy the games more than once?

Thanks to our awesome partners including Deep Silver, Harebrained Schemes, Jonathan Blow's Number None, TaleWorlds and more, you can now add more than 20 games to your GOG.com library if you previously purchased them on Steam.

The full list of games will always be available on connect.gog.com, starting with these and more:

- The Witness
- FTL: Faster Than Light
- The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut
- Galactic Civilizations 3
- Trine Enchanted Edition
- Saints Row 2
- Shadowrun Returns
- The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

While GOG Connect will stick around, the available games will come and go. These are limited-time offers made possible by participating developers and publishers, so stay tuned as we bring new titles onboard in the future (and grab your copies before they go away)!

For a bit more library-building, a bunch of our favorite titles will also be discounted up to -85% all week long, including The Witness, Saints Row: The Third, System Shock 2 and more. You can check out all the deals here. The sale will last until June 6, 12:59 PM UTC.
Only 5 days to redeem some of those? Seems a bit lacking compared to Humble imo.
Et tu, GOG?
Very interesting idea. I don't really buy on Steam, but I do have the odd bundle key from Humble lying about... it certainly makes the Steam only bundles a little more appealing if there's a chance to redeem games on Gog at some point..

Of course, I imagine we're mostly talking Indie games and developers / publishers rather than anything AAA but who knows (though admittedly Saints Row 2 is in there and I think that's a AAA title?)

TDP: There are many people who have multiple Steam accounts. Will this allow Goggers to add games from more than one Steam account? For instance, Steam account A has Saints Row 2, while Steam account B has FTL.
Nope, clearly says so on the page.
1 account, permanently.
Works. But, erm, Konrad, your post lists Van Helsing, yet it's not currently a deal. A mistake on your or web team side?
EDIT: Actually, never mind. It is there, but, for some reason isn't seen by the system Oo

johnnygoging: holy sweet jesus I can't believe you did this?

how did you get Valve to agree to this?

Hooray GOG and Valve! Valve and GOG, GOG and Valve!

I'm not sure Valve had to agree to anything. The publishers of the games agreed to let GOG add games for those who could prove Steam ownership.
Thank you GOG, 6 more games in my Library.
So as I understand this deal is temporary with current list of supported games to be removed in 5 days. How are we going to know when new games appear for transfer to gog.
It's alive! It's alive!
thank you very much, I managed to grab two games, the rest are duplicates : D

No. Read the GOG Connect page.
Awesome! Thanks for doing this GOG!

My only gripe is that I was a backer for Shadowrun and I purposely got gog copies of their game along with Steam just so I could have them on both platforms.

Oh well it's not like I could have known this at the time.

How odd. I have Bit.Trip Runner, Braid, the Breach & Clear games, Trine and VVVVV on Steam but not on GOG, but Connect is not picking them up on my Steam account.
Just added Saints Row 2, The Witcher, Braid, and Two Worlds to my Gog account! Thank you so much Gog! :D

If I understand your post correctly, you got it wrong. This allows you to add games from Steam to your GOG library. It doesn't turn GOG into Steam key reseller.
