Is this game good?
Looks like fun think i am going to pick it up
Ja, looks great. Will keep me eye open.

Game have achievements, but it's not mentioned on the storepage.
I remember it from the coming soon thread . Sounds super interesting. For those who care (like me) a glimpse of the character creator for your male or female main https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mczWxQ1RqdU&feature=youtu.be (thanks to "Shovah3D" for sharing it).

edit
Well... thats weird. When I see it I see it for 17,72 $ (just an inch inside my impulse buy comfort zone); when I add it to the cart it jumps to 20,07 $; which is just an inch outside of it (also inner middle finger for feeling being fooled rises [at gog, since I'm 99,9% sure its their fup]).

I guess I'll wait and let my thought roll over it a bit and wait for the next month to come.

Good to know, thanks
Looks pretty cool. And it looks like developer will probably be down for updating properly.

XYCat: Is this game good?
The demo, available for download from their kickstarter page, is a blast. Think more in depth Freelancer style. The demo hasn't been updated in a long time, but it is well worth the look if you're interested.
Saw this mentioned somewhere.. Interested :)
After having played the demo version that IciniX pointed me to at https://www.gog.com/forum/general/coming_soon_between_the_stars_8fb19/post44 (it runs on my potato machine btw!!! (GPU & CPU specs in the thread linked if anyone wonders)) and having had a lot of fun with it - despite its quite cheesy ending, or is there a "good end" to the demo and I just was too bad to achieve it - my biggest gripe left are the controls.

Has anyone who so far bought the InDev release found an option to rebind controls? The demo hasn't, or had it too well hidden for me and a game rocking a control scheme for English qwerty keyboards while I'm running the German quertz just doesn't get me to open my wallet.
Other than that judging from the demo the price is VERY reasonable in my opinion and if keys are indeed customizable I'd buy the game in an instant...

*edit: Wishlisted for now but I've my hopes high. :D

Now I must think of a new name for my game. Sigh!
Bought this, looks awesome.

Like FTL and Rogue Galaxy had a sexy, sexy space baby.

Now to resist the temptation to play it before it comes out of In Dev!

Between the price and features, this was an easy one to support - exactly my sort of game - good luck devs!
It was super cool and not at all slimy the way the developers sent out a bunch of unasked-for demo keys to sites when Between The Stars was on Kickstarter, then more than half a year later 301 redirected the Kickstarter link they provided so that it led to their Steam page instead, turning all coverage using said link into a massive link farm so that their store page ranks higher in search engines without the knowledge or permission of those foolish enough to link to their campaign.

The demo was decent, but that was just despicable and backhanded.
Leaving InDev on the 7th of March.
