I would prefer GOG to use their resources to continue to offer more DRM free games that are downloadable and installable & patchable offline without mandating the use of a proprietary client instead of wasting these resources reinventing the wheel (chat) for the "umpteenth" time.

Be a use people like to have an easy life? Why have umpteen different clients when one can do everything? Also, how do you find people playing Call Of Redoing 17 on your multiple chat client?
