we could give you a mountain of opinions, point you in about 20 different directions and advise you to buy "THIS" or "THAT" but it will all come down to your decision.... What Do I want it for?

So, what do you want a new laptop for?

The best thing you can do right now is get on google and search for "Gaming laptop" or "Bla Bla laptops" what ever you want it for and make the best Danged laptop money can buy, don't worry about the cost cause I can guarentee no one in their right mind will pay more then 5K for a laptop. Once you get the BEST decide what you can live with, which will make you happy and see if there are computers with your desired specifications, and their costs, usualy 2-4K USD.
if you can't spend that much drop your expectations a little lower, to the minimum you will accept and research, usualy 300usd -2K usd.

My point is seeing how it's going to be your system, do some research and get what you want. I could Swear by the Razor Blade pro and you could invest the 4,500$ only to find you think it sucks....

That prices realized me that I'll never have gaming laptop. But, hey, fortunately I have a lot retro gems in my backlog and my $300 Lenovo bought a few years ago is more than okay for them ;)
