If yes, your game is not a "pure" RPG because it contains elements that I consider to be the defining characteristic of another genre, namely, HOG's.

In any case, I need to get basic things working before I can try to implement any of that.

Regardless, do your game as you want it to be in the best possible way you can bring it to life, don't worry about the elements that you feel like are currently out of reach or elements which you don't particular care for, folks tend to appreciate games that do the things they propose to do well even when what they propose to do falls into a more limited scope then what deep pocketed or established companies can put forward.
Good luck with your project.

Larian took a very mainstream approach where the dialog and roleplaying are just as prominent as the combat. Also DnD 5e is extremely simplistic which for me takes away from the fun of character building.
That said I still love the game. These are just reasons it's not my favorite. Wrath of the Righteous is ten times better for me.

Waiting for an Xbox release of the game because for the moment my PC is too far behind in specs to play it.

Granted, BG2 did have some surprisingly dark sex stuff too. There were those forced prostitutes in the Copper Coronet whose "services" you could use and say "I don't care" when they told you their story.
Anyway, Wyll, Astarion and Gale all sound like major creeps, I think you should kill them, even if it means your party will lose half its members.

In BG3 you can actually reject Minthara at the end and she will take it surprisingly well (she should have attack you on sight). In BG3 you can always say "no" to anyone at the very end, no one is going to rape you, I guess we'll never see such CRPG games in our life.

Wyll is a bit irritating, I'm playing a good character, but he is way too good for me (like a devoted follower of Torm), I took him on 2 missions and he killed half the enemies, his spells list is quite limited but his spell power is tremendous, and he can regain those after the Short Rest, plus his cantrip damage spell is good and I buffed it with feats, special armor and gloves.
Gale is the best wizard you can get and he has CON 16 which is way higher than my main Rogue has, and you should never kill him due to *spoilers*.
I would never kill anyone of them for wanting me once or twice, but I would kick them in the head in real life. I wish there was an option to say "I love charname, leave me alone!"
Yes, it was quite tiresome to deny approaches from least expected directions, especially when even the dead can see that I take fond on particular "bosom-companion". Maybe, just maybe it was patched out, given that devs stated that your companions should not be that "horny".

Or at least, something in between: "Divinity Gate 2.7"?

The thing I don't like the most (after the interface and camera mechanics) is the ability to place explosive barrels in front of neutral characters without them noticing, only to blow them off for an instant kill. I'd rather not have those barrels at all, or to have them glued to the floor without an option to move or pick them up. I don't ever use inventory barrels technique.
What about what I said about the story themes?
DOS2 is all about acquiring power and becoming divine, right?
BG3 feels to me to be, in a way, the same thing.
In DOS2 you seek the source to become divine to stop the void / the void woken to take everything.
In BG3 you seek the tad pole / parasite powers to become a mind flayer (?) to stop the brain, forcebly, it seems.

I advise you to play the game on your own to find out. I checked a few things in advance and I wish I'd never do that.
If you really wish to know the answer there are plenty of Let's Plays and Longplays videos on YouTube (check ESO channel, he made pretty interesting Evil playthrough).

I've already watched a full playthrough and I will probably not play BG3 simply because I can't (system requirements), but I did enjoyed watching a full playthrough of the game.
My curiosity was if someone else feel that BG3 seems like a DOS3, more than Baldurs Gate 3 (as of BG1 and BG2 originals sequel) as I tried, and aparently failed, to explain here:

No offense to BG3 fans, nor Laurian studios that as far as I know is an awesome studio, but, is it me or Baldurs Gate 3 feels more like "Divinity Original Sin 3" than "Baldurs Gate 3"?
Or at least, something in between: "Divinity Gate 2.7"?
Asking this honestly because I have not played it, but by a full playthrough I watched from a Youtuber called Rurikhan that I follow (140 hours playtime), Baldurs Gate 3 for me feels by watching more like Divinity than Baldurs Gate.
They UI, the way characters interact with each other, the way they interact with the world and the situations around them.
Specially voice acting for everyone, which is specially amazing for Jennifer English as Shadowheart, for Tim Downie as Gale and Amelia Tyler as the Narrator to me.
(To give credit to them all anyways: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13258344/fullcredits
Applauds to them all!
Amazing voice actors.
If you consider that most have probably been recorded during quarantine, you see how good and invested they were.
Amazing!)
Everything seems top quality and well made. - - (SPOILERS: except Act 2 and 3 drama SPOILERS.)
...But the way that it is done feels, albeit amazing in quality as said, feels way too modern for the themes in (what looks like) a magic medieval setting in almost apocalyptic events, both personal (end of self / characters) and world wise (end of the world as the characters know it).
So, how does you guys that have played it / are playing it feel about this?
