madth3: Well, the total amount is not impressive but the average went up faster than other bundles.
i dunno

8 tpb's for the average of $ 11 is not too bad considering those things tend to be 15 and up on their own

i coudl get used to these kind of humble bundles

I completely agree. I think that other comic bundles have ended with high averages but I think that averages of $10 were hit after a couple of days.
I have a weakness for numbers and what they can tell us, you see?
:)

Just curious what a TPB is. The only thing I think of is a well known torrent site, and I'm pretty sure that's not it.

trade paperback

the collected books you usually see in the bookand comic book stores

they are usually 106 ( 4 issues ) or 152 pages ( 6 issues )

they can be bigger 270 or 360 pages but this is rare

even rarer are huge books like the knightfall trilogy ( 660 pages each and DC in their infinite wisdom still LEFT OUT 25 comics )

the comics in this humble bundle are tpb's ie collected comics

HypersomniacLive: Perhaps a silly question, but are HB Comic Bundles besides DRM-free also Watermark free?
Humble Bundle comics are watermark free; I think only Drive Thru Comics uses watermarks.

The book bundles seem to average higher; around $10 seems typical for most of the comic book bundles. I find myself going for the above average (~$15) tier more often with those because the relative value seems higher than a lot of the game bundles. For example, the Boom Comics bundle ended with an average above $10 also.

The Humble Book Bundles featuring primarily comic books have been more frequent than traditional books so far (at least monthly); I'm really enjoying it and it seems Humble sees the comics are worth frequent bundles. Times are good.

Nope. They want ad revenue from their stuff more. Which brings to question who owns G.I. Joe at the moment (I hear they did another reboot?) -- IDW or DDP or UDON or what?
