For the future you can use any browser you can think of to open your account and download offline installers. Then you don’t need to install some other third party proprietary software. Then you can save the offline installer yourself, install it how you want. Unfortunately even the offline installers have galaxy components which you can’t remove, however you can freely choose browser to download, or use download helper plugins, your not tied into one thing.
