When i try and link them, it says the Steam acct is already linked. I am sure I linked the Steam acct to this GOG acct, I haven't had another steam acct in years and years, and I don't think I have another GOG acct.

So how can I verify what Steam acct is linked to my GOG acct? And if my Steam acct isn't linked, is there a way to find out what GOG acct my Steam acct IS linked to?

On this page it shows what GOG account is connected to which Steam account.

It tells me to link my Steam account, it doesn't show any Steam account linked to my GOG account.

Which really makes no sense because I haven't had another Steam account in maybe a decade, and I don't remember ever making another GOG account. Thanks for the help. I clicked on the FORGOT PASSWORD link and tried a few different emails. Ends up I DO have another GOG account. ima420r.877 must have been made for some reason. In fact, I have like 50 games too! And it looks like some are ones I paid for. So awesome! Like finding a $20 bill in an old coat pocket.

Anyway, when I used your link it did show it was linked to my Steam account so that was right on. Thanks again!

Now I have to see if there is a way to link my 2 accounts. :)

Not through a user-accessible system, no. If you contact support, they may be able to help you.

There was an issue couple of years ago, where accounts from the last incarnation of the... ahm, forum(?) got a number attached, while new ones were automatically created for some reason.
I really don't recall the specifics - maybe regulars know what I'm talking about? I think most of these were auto-resolved, but some did require help from support.

I'm aware of the old ".###" glitch, even though it happened before my time here. (That's why I'm assuming that "ima420r.877" was his earlier account, because it had those extra digits appended.) It has nothing to do with his losing track of his old account, though, since the login process doesn't ask for one's username, only for e-mail address and GOG password.

I contacted GOG and they said there is nothing that can be done and I simply have 2 accounts. Too bad my Steam acct is linked to the old acct, not the current one. :(
