yeah like i said that trick does not work for me.

It doesn't matter now cause i bought it from amazon.uk.

ShepardCommander: The only reason i even looked at key sites is because i couldn't buy MGS5 on steam.
It was not my first choice but i had to risk it.Hopefully it was not a stolen key or anything.

real.geizterfahr: Well, you're in a special situation with those stupid capital controls, but... Yeah, especially with Witcher GOG keys there seems to be a very high chance that they were bought with stolen credit cards. That's why you can't purchase this game as a gift on GOG anymore (and why the GOG season pass isn't available on those sites, since the gift purchase was disabled from day 1).

I know that it sucks if you try to be honest and pay for something, but your Government doesn't allow it because of *burp*. Just be aware that the stuff you buy from key resellers could be just as legitimate as a copy from this Pirate Bay-thingy. And in the worst case you give your money to some criminal scammer who stole someone else's money.

Ulfednir: not to mention that G2A offer a purchase insurance -which I always used- to protect buyer.
avatar
real.geizterfahr: That alone should tell you how legit those keys are. Have you ever bought a "purchase insurance" in the supermarket, just in case the police takes away the food you bought, because someone stole it and sold it to you?

avatar
Ulfednir: And, again, I think you miss the OP main problem:
avatar
real.geizterfahr: No, I don't. I just wanted to point out that something doesn't become legit just because you pay for it. Yes, it sucks not to be able to buy a game. But it sucks even more to give your money to criminals and to get an invalidated key in return.
Seriously, do you get not all the resellers are scammers? That if you are buyng a direct offer of the shop it's already verified? That they are shops and sometimes thet make discounts just like any other "good" shop?
I get your crusade on scammers, and I feel it and I aggree on that, but you totally mix different things together: those shops give you a chance to buy directly a product on them OR buy a resellser key (also resellers are usually rated...) if, like the OP, you can't buy on Steam/GOG/Humbelbundle it's ok to search on other shops, it's like to use eBay to buy something, just be carefull and selct produscts and sellsers, and not all sellers on eBay sell stolen stuff.
There's a risk? Yeah, the more you're greedy, the more you risk, but buying a direct product form shop it's not at all doing something not "legit" or support scammer, nor is that deadly "take a chance", it's just a quite normal transaction.

ShepardCommander: Guys i bought it from amazon.uk and it worked! ;)

I got the code instantly and ended up paying less since 15 pounds is like 20 euros.

How did i not think of that?

Now if only i could find a way to buy the dlc for DAI on origin......
I see this only now, well, I'm happy for you mate, have a good game! :)

In this case they still bought GOG gift keys, which are not allowed for resale, according to GOG's terms of use. And it still doesn't explain why they're selling an additional "purchase insurance" for legit keys. And it doesn't explain how they make proffit if they sell the game for less (even if it is just a few Dollar) than they bought it.

Sorry, but they're extremely shady.
