plex0m4n: Like the flow, don't understand a word :)

How about this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_cHktBRUO9M&list=PLDF2060C80E80730D&index=5
Same applies to the song you posted!
Funny video, nice flow, great beat. Good song overall!
I always kind of liked this one, despite not understanding a single word beside Mercedes and amphetamine. ;) Do the lyrics have a specific theme? What does 'Faca' mean?

l0rdtr3k: Any album recommendations for a Hip Hop newcomer?
Are you into Brazilian hip hop, too?

Faca means the main man, the tough guy, the cool guy...he's talking about how hardcore he is doing illegal stuff, boinking girls, the way you gotta dress and behave and all that stuff :) He's very talented, lots of hits.

Try this one from the competition

I wish I could understand much more hip-hop from all around the world. The clever word play, how lyrics are incorporated with the tone of the beat, the hidden messages and all that made the big songs...well the big songs that they are.

I shiver every time when I look at what's going on in the US nowadays (going 10 years back or even more) with their commercial hip-hop, that shit just keeps on being unbearable. Then it's time to listen to common and also acknowledge that I used to love HER

Even though we all know the "good" hip-hop moved underground or is still everywhere around us, you just to look carefully ;)
Interesting article I just read:

With Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, Outkast heralded the decline of gangster rap

New Elzhi/Fashawn Fuego!

Nice metaphor games and good verses.

Bavarian: I'm looking for the name of a crew, especially one of their albums.
The mystery is solved. I actually found the old tape.

N.A.P. - La fin du monde

After listening to it again I still think it's a nice album in terms of music and production. Can't judge the quality of the lyrics, though.

Oh, and thanks for posting the Greek and Bosnian (?) tunes. I'm always eager to hear something new.

Thanks for letting us know! I probably wouldn't have found it myself, but now that you posted the title it rings a bell. I remember at least one of the tracks ("Le Ghetto pleure") and almost all of the featured artists. Apparantly the group is from Strasbourg.

Got a bevy of goodness from AFH, my peoples!

The Ambrosia for Heads site has even more, but these are my current favorites

Amerigo Gazaway does James Brown.

Jon Connors tackles Kanye West's beats

Ever wanted to hear the source samples for all those 90s Bad Boy hits?

Nas...and JOURNEY?! WHAT?! Crazy, right? It's REALLY good!
