yeah, I tried my chat question thread and got no repsonse from a blue. I sent a support ticket WITH the link to the thread so they saw it wasn't an isolated incident. All I got back was a generic "clear your history" response.

Gog, your chat is broken if you are using firefox and using another browser is NOT an acceptable answer!

that problem was already there as we had the old pm system, seems that its occurence depends on gogs server load and your net connection load. so since this problem existed before chat and isn't still fixed, i'd guess taff don't care and won't do anything.

That's GOG's recent seal of quality. Don't get me wrong, GOG has managed to get some extremely impressive releases out the door in the past few weeks BUT that does NOT excuse them leaving the forum to die, breaking promises etc.

As an added note: QUIT TRYING TO MAKE GALAXY MANDATORY!

Hmm, see I never had a problem with chat crashing firefox until just a few days ago. I had problems where I didn't get notified I had messages, but never crashes.

I'm sure their "top men" are working on it.

It's been over a week since the deadline for fixing the forum, and since then it's dea air. Please, vote here for better communication from GOG. The fact that the chat and forum remain the way they are is bad enough, but the fact there are no reliable updates is even worse.

oh sorry i just read your thread, i assumed that you are talking about another problem with pm/chat (chat doesn't load). i didn't had firefox crashes while using chat.

nope, it's totally cool. you know I do have the problem with chat not loading, but if i hit refresh it goes through. I just thought it was my crappy internetz. wow. chat is really fucked up, isn't it?

Edit: (not directed at apehater, just in general) And if it weren't for the fact I just got a new computer, galaxy would not have been an option for me. Also, I shouldn't have to use the client if I dont want to.
