tfishell: indie developer Alan Hazelden said that it's so low, that he removed his game from GOG because it isn't worth the hassle. And everytime you want to receive money from GOG there's some work involved."
I know, it's so annoying - any time I want to get paid for doing my JOB there's always some work involved as well - what a pain in the ass! Where's my free interweb-buckz?!?!?!
Another dev said this too (I made too little and I had to fill out a form - wah! - I think for some pirate game). To me, they come off as jerks. You're an indie dev - you're going to have to go long term, wait it out, hope your game catches on over time and gets positive buzz. Heck, in the case of the pirate game, I probably would have bought it eventually. And if the dev made a bigger better sequel, I probably would have been ALL OVER that.
But after similar posts like this, screw you. If you're too lazy to fill out a form, if you can't see the big long term picture, you're probably not patching either, probably not working (so hard!) to improve your craft - you're probably crying that you didn't get a massive free paycheck for your niche, pixel graphic tractor trailer truck piston alignment sim - wondering why it isn't selling 10 million copies.
