then my skills in this game are underpowered heavily :D (though I thought that Shaman is very strong, when he casts a couple of totems his army becomes almost immortal in my opinion)
I do think about it, but it seems you need to adapt your strategy (attack a hero or a minion, cast a spell or save mana for stronger attacks) very often during each fight, and I suck at that... :)

But the totems are randomized (until you have all of them in the board), and very weak if you can't buff them..

I've encountered a totem that grants +1 to attack of all minions, another with healing of all minions every turn, and one with +1 to mana each turn, during one play (he also played some minion that increased their life so destroying them took a LOT of time, plus some other minion had taunt of course...)

Bah, I don't like how everyone is using Mage. Unfortunately I wanted to use someone else, but most online matches I went with Jaina too as most special cards are got were for here and none was for my warlock.

I think Shaman can be good when he gets good synergy of totems and cards but also can suck as totems are random which makes him bit unreliable in my opinion.
Also, unless they are buffed, totems are quite easily destroyable with mage and the i.e. the card which makes 1 damage to all minions.

Doesn't every card game require to adapt to opponents play, though?

oh yeah, I think that's all the totems within the hero power (4 I guess?), is randomized until you have all of them in the board (like, you wont get 2 healing totem and so on)... The problem lies when you can't have the one you need it ;p
There's also a few totem in the Shaman cards, but I haven't played a lot with him to get used to them (OR to get them)

After giving it a bit longer I'm enjoying Hearthstone more than I was. So far I particularly like Priest, most of the other classes were complete garbage trying to level them up to 10. Get all the basic cards unlocked and open a few packs and that changes of course. I do have a Warlock deck outlined that want to try as well.

I particularly liked the Arena mode. Normally I'd be all-in on constructed play because I enjoy the thought that goes into building a solid deck with good synergies, but it's nice to jump into a level playing field without the feeling of everybody but me having the OP legendaries.

I have just played the new Curse of Naxxramas update and I gotta say that I'm pleasantly surprised

I also have to give credit to Blizzard for making it possible to buy all content with in-game Gold, so as long as you keep doing daily quests it's pretty easy to get gold and buy Single player content, Card Packs, etc

It's pretty Ironic looking back at the very first post that I made in this thread in 2013, the game turned out to be much better than I thought

The only real problem is that it has little actual depth to it, it's not a bad game, it's just a game that you can't play more than 20-30 minutes a day because of the way it's made

I also wish it would be connected and integrated into World of Warcraft more, the free hearthsteed mount was a nice start but I wish the game had special rewards like Mounts/Pets/Transmog armour/TCG items etc to make it more worthwhile and give more incentive for people to play more and complete challenges
