Happy Holidays from the team!
The holiday season is here. The world, in all its little shopping frenzies and chaotic reunions, seems to slow down just a little. It slows to taste the crisp winter air, to be childishly entranced by all the lights and colors.

As for us, we're going to celebrate with a little something special.
With a new free game in our catalog: Bio Menace, something of a mix between the smooth and joyous gameplay of Commander Keen, and the alien weirdness of the original Duke Nukem platformers. The spacey 2D shooter by 3D Realms is now part of our selection of free, truly worth playing, classics.

With a Happy Holiday Sale from & Bethesda:
Have a holly, jolly discount. It's the best time of the year. We don't know if there will be snow, but have a cup of deal. It's up to 75% off the entire Bethesda catalog on - including the three and only classic Fallout games, as well as some of the best shooters in history: the retro Wolfenstein 3D & Return to Castle duo, The Ultimate DOOM, DOOM II & Final DOOM alongside the Quake series (from the singleplayer gory of Quake + Quake II, through the timeless mutliplayer mayhem of Quake III). Finally, there's the chance to explore the history of The Elder Scrolls with classics like Morrowind, Battlespire, and Redguard.

As always, any purchase from the Bethesda catalog on comes with a free copy of The Elder Scrolls: Arena and The Elder Scrolls Chapter II: Daggerfall!

Looking for last-minute gifts? There ya' go.
The sale will last until December 29, 4:59 AM GMT.

Have a happy holiday season!
Gogbears, gogbears everywhere!
Ay caramba, gogbear :) And mind if I ask, where the hell is Oblivion?

'404: oh noes, there's nothing in here'
Yes, Bio Menace! I'm unreasonably excited for this given it's been free for so long, and I still have my floppy disks of the game. :-) BTW, there's no link in the announcement to the game:
Nice, need more of the other freeware games from 3D Realms and others.
Here's the correct link:
Dang, there goes my wallet...
Du kannst deine Bestellung nicht abschließen, da Wolfenstein 3D + Spear of Destiny , Quake II: Quad Damage, Return to Castle Wolfenstein in deinem Land nicht verkauft werden dürfen.
GOG, can you please fix this detection system? It's annoying if one has crossed borders after logging in and tries to pay and only gets these messages shown after that or that the payments fails silently.

I seem to have everything from the promo, except the newly released Fallout 1+2+Tactics. Since I have the earlier GOG versions of those three already, I guess I'll pass.

Maybe Oblivion and Fallout 3 GOTY at some point, for starters, hmmm?

EDIT: Oh and I added the free Bio Menace, albeit I doubt I will play it. Most probably it doesn't even have sound card support.

EDIT2: Or does it, since it is a 1993 game? Those graphics made me think it is some EGA game from 1989 or such...
