I am awfully sorry, but I think I killed GOG.
Honestly, I was just trying to check the differences between Europe Universalis IV editions, but the GOG just couldn't handle it anymore and croaked.
So if anyone asks, yes it was me. Sorries!

Frankly, I suspect it was that damn Steam icon on the same taskbar that assassinated GOG! They never seem to get along, always bickering.

I think i saw a similar error by going under your profile by accident. I meant my profile but this was in the morning.
why can't they take the site offline? It's like I'm sinking with the Titanic
It was not you, you just was causing the very last straw on a camels back. Actually this issue was already happening yesterday.

Looks bad yeah, i can currently not check my library anymore as it apparently is overloaded. If a hardware is overloaded for extended period it may as well break some "codes" as the stability is permanently decreased, so it is rarely a good idea "overloading" something for extended periods.

No short term issues, because my games are all backed up anyway. But it might hurt GOG sales and if they can not fix it, the long term will be a matter.

Fear no more. I was able to buy the Europa Universalis IV Ultimate Bundle, just 9 minutes before the deal ends.
Nick of time, nickle or dime.

All is good now.

The deal is still up until 11. September it seems. It would be weird if it is going to be taken down a few days after it seems to show up. The only reason i could think of is because the deal is probably just "to good". I am not sure how complete the Ultimate edition is but there is surely a lot of stuff inside and the price looks like a bargain if we look at that huge game and the possibly big playtime someone could get out of it. But i dunno... so far i was not playing it, perhaps it is a good time trying it out.

Guess for many people it means "buy it now or you may regret it at some point":

Very odd. As I was about to buy it, it reported me 11 minutes and some seconds left for the deal.

Maybe GOG noticed that hey someone actually bought the game, and decided to extend it! Just in case someone else does too, or I accidentally buy it twice.

You never know, do you? No you don't. NEVER!
The only thing i know about life is that some stuff is common and more likely to be possible and other stuff is less common and less likely to be possible but ultimately almost everything is possible.
