Looking at trading System Shock 2 for Chronicles of Riddick on the big fall sale here at GoG.com

:)
As my library grows I run into the problem of getting free games that I already have more and more. Wish they'd just award store credit.

But, if anyone wants my codes for System Shock 2 or Riddick, just ask. They'd just go to waste anyway, all my ignorant friends are using Steam.

At least GOG offers discounts for completing collections, something Steam desperately needs to implement.

For now I can buy games on demand from gog for a reasonable price if you have something from my wishlist ( I mean I won't buy games at full price )

Want:
Tf2/Csgo keys, Wishlist: http://steamcommunity.com/id/michellexsss/wishlist

Also, I have a fair amount of rep here http://www.steamgifts.com/user/Mishosonic/feedback

I am just mentioning that because someone didn't want to do a trade with me because it seems like there are scammers around. I can still go first if you have a good rep.

Well I just paid full price for Besiege on steam, but got an extra copy in the Monthly Bundle. Would be willing to trade it for equal value on here or Steam. Looking for Ziggurat, Massive Chalice or other RPG's or cool titles I don't own. Awesome game. :)

how can i see exactly if someone is trustworthy to trade or not?
during this sale i got two codes for games i already own.
system shock 2 and chronicles of riddick, so i'll have to get rid of them.
in my first trade in august i was screwed by cmmvn/nes400 or whoever he is.
so how can i avoid something like this happening again?

Few ways possible to decrease possibility of being scammed. First - you may do some research in the forum of the person you are trading with. If that does not help, you may ask some forum patriots for advice (I mean honorable members, they are easy to spot). Rep rule sometimes help - if the other person has lower rep, he goes first. Last but not least - have a polite, human like conversation if the trade goes sideways. It's possible that a mistake was made and you may come to the compromise, another agreement.

First of all try trading with someone who has some community presence.
Ask to provide a link to any post if you don't know the person.
Copy his exact name and compare with linked post.. (we have some impostors here..)
If you really want to trade with uknown person, check code first. If name will be different than person you're trading with, there is a chance game was bought at some shady site and will be revoked sooner or later..
