How many GOGlins does it take to plant a parsnip?

Working as a group is usually about efficiency, coordination, and emergent camaraderie. But mostly it's about silly, anarchic fun! And that's exactly what Twitch Plays is: a hilarious collective effort to play a game using the input of everyone who participates. You can either contribute by issuing simple commands in the chat or just sit back and watch the madness unfold.

Join us today for the first spectacular GOG Plays event on Twitch.tv/GOGcom and help us achieve greatness in Stardew Valley. The objective? To plant a Parsnip!
Then stay tuned for the announcement of our second event, where we will be trying to acquire a specific kind of balloon in Grim Fandango Remastered.

For every challenge we complete everyone will get 300 XP, regardless of whether they participated or not. An 100 XP boost will be handed out as consolation prize should we fail our objective. But that's not gonna happen. Right?

The Stardew Valley event begins Thursday, June 9, at 4:00 PM UTC and will last for six hours. Bring your gardening tools.

Interesting. So how does the Twitch Plays command system work with a mouse-controlled game like Stardew Valley?
I'll try to remember that, two hours..
Galaxy built-in reminder would be great for such a days.. Just a thought.

SCPM: Interesting. So how does the Twitch Plays command system work with a mouse-controlled game like Stardew Valley?
It has the controller support, the only moment mouse is really needed is in the dialogues with multiple options (like, while operating TV), we fixed mouse position there to be able to get out of dialogues quickly.

All other actions that are the core of Stardew gameplay, so walking, choosing various items and using them is operatable with commands.

Sorry GOG, I'm already tired of doing my IRL gardening work for today so not this time ;)

This sounds great, I'm really excited. :D
Never been a fan of Twitch plays and the experience reward for winning seems irrelevant since failing would seem to push people who don't spend anything over the 5000 edge already, so winning only matters if someone happens to be 200/400 short of the second or third free game, which is going to happen rarely I imagine with the amounts of exp you get for buying games :)

I'm sure Twitch will have a field day with it though, smart way to advertise.

For the love of parsnip, please, please, turn this into vote based twitchplay, otherwise it's gonna be chatoic mess.
Actually, it's very chaotic right now... Already 20 mins gone and we still can't get the character into the house!
