Nicole28: Loot, I'm amazed. Most people who aren't part of the demographic tend to not usually know much about inner LGBTQ politics, as people naturally don't busy themselves with things that don't particularly involve or interest them. And that makes you a little more perceptive, just saying.
Emob78: That's because individual identity is trumped by the collective. That's part of the strategy behind identity politics. Why do you think the sex-outraged left has grabbed the rainbow flag as their totem? Lots of colors, intended to proclaim unity between many different groups. When in fact, if you took a couple of openly gay or trans people to say a black southern baptist church you'd see very quickly what weak ground their castle was built on. And ultimately all this pronoun letter-jacketing group politics is just more divide and conquer. Who gives a shit about illegal wars, fiat currency and inflation, or warrant-less surveillance of the citizenry by the government when we need to worry about those important things like what bathroom some crossdresser is going to use at the local Apple-Bees restaurant.
