I'm starting to get the feeling its Dessimu and Babark (maybe Catte, but there is just a little too much consensus) , I'll put that down for posterity.

I ask everyone to read 677 and see what you think. If someone is trying to gently steer us away from a scum buddy late in the day...

Oh, interesting, guess I should have refreshed before posting.

Anyhow, I guess it is ok to lynch me today. I had a role too, but as I hinted at before, it seems kinda useless, and I wasn't able to use it to save Frost, so there's something going on in this game that makes it redundant.

I have what was described as a "roleblocker", where whoever I target cannot be targetted by anyone else.
I used it on Frost on N1, and was even told I succeeded in enacting my role, but...Frost was still gone the next day.

Are we allowed to quote from the PMs? The word "rolestopper" was literally used, sorry, not roleblocker. Does that mean something different?

This makes no sense. You would have stopped Frostburn using his power, not protected him.

Roleblocker doesn't work like that. Roleblocker stops the one you target, aka you stopped FrostburnPhoenix from acting, not from dying. Assuming you're telling the truth here, and assuming that town has a typically mafia role.

What do we think?

I don't know what works how, and again, whether PMs can be quoted, but another phrase used was "stand guard". I am certain I understood how the role is meant to work.

Rolestopper is the opposite more or less. A roleblocker stops their target performing actions, a rolestopper stops actions being performed on the target. It's like a doc, but for more than just preventing killing.

Rolestopper almost makes sense. Either mafia has Strongman, or this Rolestopper by Lift's design doesn't protect from kills, or Babark is Mafia
