I'm the Town Redirector. For those unfamiliar or/and those too lazy to go look it up, from the Mafiascum Wiki: This means that if the player I pick to redirect was going to act, they're still going to perform the same action but on the player of my choice instead of theirs.

I have Indy's mighty whip which I use to thrust a player I pick onto another player of my choice. I breadcrumbed it in post #325. I'm going to call it my whip from here on.

-- N1: I ultimately decided against using my whip as I was afraid I'd screw things up for town with the pair I was initially considering to pick. Funnily enough, dedoporno was still the primary unit in that pair, though I have no idea if he's the one that also killed FrostburnPhoenix.
-- N2: I whipped dedoporno onto Dessimu** - sorry, @Dessimu, something I overlooked and a miscalculation in my VCA led me to choose you. But given that you were a VT, I think you fulfilled your role beautifully! You will always be remembered for your sacrifice, thank you!

Why come out toDay
dedoporno is someone that won't get lynched on suspicion only; just look at JoeSapphire's attempts. If I didn't reveal, he'd be free to continue decimating the town, while some other poor townies get mislynched. I had to act, even if it meant that my whip's use has come to an end - which is not a foregone thing yet.
Plus, I prefer we don't repeat the mistakes from the previous game.

Why not earlier toDay
When I saw the D2 opening post, I was thrilled (not for causing Dessimu's untimely death, but for catching dedoporno in the act), and faced with the dilemma - how do I play it?
The instinctive reaction was to come into the thread at Day-start, and ask for his head. But dedoporno seemed above suspicion, so I needed to make sure two things happen before EoD3:
(i) have people's reactions on record, and get some decent discussion going without my result tainting or muddling it; I think I've accomplished it to a decent degree (a number of things I said/asked toDay were with this goal in mind).
(ii) use the time to look into dedporno's interactions, reads and votes; he's a smart cookie and wouldn't give his partners away (easily), so I had to dig as deep as I could, and I needed time for that. I hope to have some leads by tomorrow afternoon.

Why not wait until tomorrow/EoD3
I decided to come forward tonight, to give us all time to digest the new info, answer questions, leave my legacy, and make sure we actually lynch him instead of running around at EoD3 trying to scrap the votes together. This is assuming that my fellow townies still trust me, believe me and will vote with me.

Going into D4 and beyond
It'd be glorious (not as glorious as ZFR's victory Vig-shot at me, but still) if it all ended toDay, but I think there's one more. The remaining mafia will have to make a choice toNIght - who out of all outed/claimed town PRs to kill. I may be around D4, I may not - going by detective_razza's reveal, I probably won't. I will still use my whip and try my best.

Warning
dedoporno likes to hammer his wagon, I guess as a means to muddle the waters for anyone attempting to analyse it, so be careful not to get him to L-1 early on; he'll cut the Day short. And I'd like to leave you my legacy, thoughts and findings, which I hope may be useful to you when I'm not around.

So, please hold on to your vote until I've posted everything I have to say, which, as I said, will be some time early afternoon tomorrow.

Looking at where things are going it's probably pointless to try and persuade you but we can afford one mislynch. Still, I'm a Commuter and sail away each evening but somehow always end up stranded for the whole night. I'm not compulsive to use my power but I did it both Nights.
