Hi,

I wanted to ask you some help about an issue while installing and launching GOG Galaxy.
I have an error message : "The application did not manage to run correctly (0xc000007b)"

I tried to reinstall the C++ packages for VS 2012 - 2013 and 2015 (x64 and x86) but it didn't change anything.
DirectX wasn't installed at first so I managed to do it but again, the same error.

If you guys are able to help me I would really appreciate. Just notice that I don't have any "Games" folder because I didn't buy any game, however I need GOG Galaxy to play Gwent: The Witcher Card Game :)

No clue about the error, never had that happening, just wanted to mention you should probably report it in the Galaxy Beta thread (https://www.gog.com/forum/general/gog_galaxy_beta_2) and more importantly in the Mantis bug reporting tool (http://mantis.gog.com/), since that is tracked more carefully by the galaxy devs than the normal forum :-)

These errors seems to be becoming more common, I assume you are on at-least Windows 7? Perhaps trying some of the methods described here will work for you:

Thank you for the advice, I'm going to do it.
The thing is that it didn't happened before my computer got reinitialized (because of a hard disk problem, now replaced by a new one). Is it involved in the error?

Problem fixed thanks to Aio Runtimes. An utility that detects missing packages and download it automatically.
I reinstalled GOG Galaxy and it worked.
Solution Update 2022 try this !

1. Go path C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy
2. Paste mfc140u.dll 32 bit version
3.Execute GOG

You revived an almost six year old thread.
To offer the solution to a problem, which the OP apparently has already solved:

https://www.gog.com/forum/general/gog_galaxy_error_0xc000007b_1/post5

Apart from that: going by his/her account, the OP was apparently last online two years ago.
