I want to connect my steam library with gog, to play witcher 3 on GOG.

I'm trying to gog connect and all but it says not eligible, my question is... Is it not eligible because I don't have it installed on my pc, or it doesn't matter?

Hi, it doesn't matter. GOG connect elligible games become available for a fixed timeframe. you can only know checking the site often. Witcher 3 have not been yet in the program. cheers.

Games get put into GOG Connect for a limited time.

At the moment, there are only two games in the program: Syberia and Syberia 2.

The Witcher and The Witcher 2 can be redeemed on GOG through The Witcher Backup, I assume some permanent solution will be made available for The Witcher 3 as well in due time, but as of yet, I don't think there have been a way to get your Steam-purchased The Witcher 3 over to here.

Hello i get syberia 1 free, and today i see gog connect for syb 1 and 2
i have 1 and 2 on steam
when i press actualize, its says syberia 2 not on my steam
and im playing syb 2 on steam :s

i hope i can't switch soon on gog

Chances are GOG isn't aware that you own Syberia 2 on Steam. Try the following:
1. Make sure your Steam profile is set to 'Public'.
2. Go to https://www.gog.com/connect and click the 'Refresh button on the right hand side of the page (NOT the refresh button on the browser). If you've already clicked that button within the last 2 (I think) hours you might have to wait until 2 hours have passed before you click the button again, due to GOG limiting the amounts of times one may send a request to scan ones Steam profile to once every two hour.

What happens when you click the 'Refresh' button? GOG scans your Steam profile for which games you own, and logs them. If you've bought a new game on Steam since GOG last scanned your Steam profile, GOG won't know about it. If your Steam profile isn't public, GOG won't be able to scan it, so it's important to have it set to 'Public' before you scan it with 'Refresh'.
