You don't need account security if you have GoG Galaxy ™

I demand one of those dongle thingies that connect to my phone to verify my identity on a service on my computer that downloads launchers for games that necessitate more dongles to verify my credentials within said games!

If you think steam's system works so well you need to look at their Discussion boards. There are numerous people who get locked out of their account"s every day because of some screw-up. Sometimes there's so many the Mods will combine or move them to make it seem like a smaller problem. Let's be honest the real reason steam upped their security was because they wanted to protect their CS:GO players who have VASTLY over-priced skins in their Inventory.
So to the question of e-mail or cell phone verification I don't think it is a justifiable annoyance, at this time.
