I'm in. I would like Quake Enhanced (no DLC).

I know this is about making one person happy, not about what game is given to its recipient or it's retail price.

What is important to me is that this is a game that really turned me into a gamer back in the day and I would be thrilled to play it again whenever I wanted that feeling I had when I first played Quake.

Soon, a minimum of two members should be happy. The winner certainly should and the one whose birthday wish it was to provide joy for someone other than their self should as well.

Mugiwarah: Best way to do it is to read the 7 books than play the three games or play the first two games than read the books as Geralt lost hi memory it fit realy good that way than play the Witcher 3 or you can play only the 3 games or even just the third, Cd Projekt did a great job as you don't have to read the books or play the two first games to understand or enjoy the game.
But i strongly recomended to read the books and play Witcher 1 and The Witcher 2 or at least just play the games before playing The Witcher 3. The first two games will take you between 50 and 80 hours to beat them both if you don't rush them.
The Witcher 1 gameplay might be strange at first but after a few hours you get use to it ( i liked it more than the 2 other games but a lot of peoples hated it).
I didn't even know there were books for The Witcher! That's awesome!

There is a eighth one written 14 years after the last one but it's a side story that happened to Geralt between two novel from the first book.

Book 1 and 2 are multiple small Novels, 3 to 7 are The Witcher saga rhat tells Geralt a'd Ciri story and in 2014 a last book that have no number and not really linked to the others books but still nice to read.

If you like reading, they worth the time if you like Dark Fantasy.

I never finished Witcher 3 but always wanted to make time for it.
I heard we should play the first two first.
Is that right?
A lot, I am on NG+. As the game, better to start with 1, then 2, then 3, it is not mandatory but the story it is the best in this order, on this saga. Each game have the pros and cons, best for me it is 3(best balanced), then 1(best colors and feeling/graphics), then 2(this one feel very console like). I did read the books in the past(after played the games), well, for me, the author it is a mediocre writer, his writings are confuse, but he had the main idea that it is very great, and a few little great moments(in the books), for me was almost a chore to finish the books(I am the guy that enjoy to read Dostoevsky, Asimov, Herbert, almost more than s_x), the movies and anime are even worst, are like food from home vs fast-food; the stories from games are very well writen...
