Since everytime politics gets introduced into a thread it gets locked, it might be a good idea to start a thread where discussions of a political nature can go on. Please keep it civil and follow the forum rules and hopefully Gog admin will give this thread their blessing.

EDIT:: Dear Linko, this comment is not intended to be petty or insult you. I merely hope this thread will keep other threads from being derailed by politics by allowing an area where people can (hopefully) have civil debates about all the "political stuff" that keeps getting brought up in the wrong threads.

The point is politics keeps getting into other threads and then they get shut down. BTW I usually don't start the political discussions which derail these threads, but as soon as I express my opinion, no matter how civil I am about it the thread gets shut down.
